I love animals, which is why I always feel so conflicted about keeping them as pets because I wonder whether or not they love me or my house. Like if I was taken away from my mother at birth just so I could live with a different species and abide by their rules I'm not sure I'd feel so happy about it.

Then again, animals are awesome and I've seen plenty of pets who look absolutely stoked to be living with their owners.

Plus there's the whole cuteness factor of keeping a pet around.

Like this little kitty, Yanata, who takes absolutely flawless selfies with her owner, Elizabeth.

OK more than likely this one isn't a selfie, but you catch my drift, right?

Yanata's unique color pattern creates a striking difference between the left and right side of her face.

Which makes her look like an adorable version of Harvey Dent.

Elizabeth said in an interview with Hana Hiba that Yanata was named after Janus, to honor the Greek God Janus, who's got two faces.

Yanata's totally concerned with something going on off-camera here, but I mean come on, just look at these two.

Yanata ended up needing a home so Elizabeth and her family decided to take the little kitty in after hearing about her from a family friend.

They even celebrate the holidays together and wear matching costumes.

At first, Elizabeth's family cat was jealous of Yanata and they didn't get along. But after a while they warmed up to each other.

I wish I could train a cat to just chill on my shoulder at all times.

Elizabeth's currently an architect-design student studying away from her family in Minsk and brought Yanata with her to school. After she saw how photogenic Yanata was an decided to create an Instagram account for her furry companion.

She now has over 13,000 followers despite only having 77 posts up on Instagram.

Elizabeth says that Yanata is very playful and acts more like a dog than a cat. She calls the two-faced kitty her little "miracle" and with a face like that, it's easy to see why. (h/t hh)
