2016 has been downright terrifying, and with the deaths of several prominent actors and authors over the last few days, 2016 is clearly going all in before its time is up.

People have been really skeeved out by all the bad this year has brought, so much so that it inspired this incredibly creative trailer for a 2016 thriller movie that may as well be a documentary was made and became an instant hit with the online community.

The trailer opens up innocently enough, with filming beginning on December 31st, 2015, a few seconds before the stroke of midnight. It was right after then that things took an M. Night Shyamalan twist and started spiraling out of control.

The death of Harambe, exploding cell phones, a masked madman that resembles the president-elect, Brexit, a string of celebrity deaths that must all somehow be connected, and many other signature 2016 moments are squeezed into the 2 minute and 16-second trailer.

The classic horror movie schtick is present, including the physical manifestation of 2016 who would give Freddie Kruger nightmares, along with the classic why-would-you-say-that line of, "It's not like it's going to get any worse."

Check it out...if you dare.
