On Instagram, there's no shortage of people taking photos of their food. Dig deep enough through a person's feed and there's sure to be snaps of whatever decadent dessert or healthy, super-food packed meal they're lording over you.
A lot of these Instagrammers however are mere amateurs when it comes to uploading snapshots of their meals. At the end of the day, there are food photographers and then there are food photographers.
Anna Keville Joyce is the latter, because her IG photos of grub are anything but ordinary. They're downright exquisite.
The NYC/Buenos Aires-based artist exclusively uses food ingredients to craft her intricate plate designs.
I mean she crafted a woodpecker for crying out loud. A woodpecker, digging in a tree, for its own food...and it's made out of food...whoa.
Emoji pasta? Yes please.
And even a gnarly looking, asymmetric owl.
A lot of her beautiful culinary work was featured on Tasting Table's Instagram feed, a who's who and what's what of mouth-watering foods. Granted, a lot of Keville Joyce's pieces are made out of raw ingredients, which kinda makes me wonder what they would look like once they're all cooked.
