Even if you're not the biggest fan of James Corden, you probably know all about his Carpool Karaoke sessions where he gets some of the most popular, legendary, and iconic music starts for a ride in his SUV around Los Angeles to sing some of their most memorable songs.
There's an intimacy bonding over the music that fewer interview formats can attain, and due to the insane popularity of the bit, it's hard to argue otherwise. His most recent guest is Bruno Mars.
I admit that years ago, I kind of wrote Mars off as another high-pitched voice, run-of-the-mill pop star. But his latest funktastic hits and dedication to repping the music that inspired him to get into songwriting in the first place made a huge impression on me.
And after seeing just how much darn fun he had with the late night show host on his Carpool Karaoke session, I can say that I'm even more of a fan.
Also, props to James for putting his best foot forward and trying to learn those dance moves.
