Apparently, People Have Been Taking Selfies For Almost 100 Years.

Pictured below, The Byron Company stands together proudly for a historic photograph in 1920. The five men work together as photographers, and they’ve come together for a self-indulgent moment atop New York City.

On the left, we see Uncle Joe Byron holding the camera with an outstretched arm. Ben Falks, slightly more camera-shy, holds the camera from the right. Between them we see Pirie MacDonald, Colonel Marceau, and Pop Core. Such fascinating names.

This was truly a historic moment for selfies. These men may never know what they started, but they remain pioneers. #nofilter
