In the world of entrepreneurship, Mark Cuban is a name that continues to ring bells. While Mark is mostly known for being a Shark Tank investor, his résumé is quite extensive. Mark is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks NBA team, co-owner of 2929 Entertainment, owner of film distributor Magnolia Pictures, and more.

While Mark is known to be very open about his business ventures, he takes the opposite approach when it comes to his loved ones — in particular his family. That said, most folks are aware that Mark has been happily married for years, but have wanted more details about his spouse. Mark Cuban and his wife, Tiffany Stewart, first met in 1997 and got married five years later.

Cheers to long-lasting love! In case you didn’t know, Mark and Tiffany have been locked in for a long time. They first met in 1997 at a Dallas gym. Tiffany was working in advertising sales at the time. Mark wasn't a billionaire yet, but he owned the successful Broadcast.com, which he would later sell during the dot-com bubble.

In March 2000, when Mark was a new billionaire, the New York Times did a profile on him. Tiffany, who was living with him at the time, appeared in the article as well, and it shed some light on her down-to-earth personality. She was still driving her Honda and working in ad sales at an agency. And she wasn't crazy about the "impractical" chateau that Mark bought. She felt they were middle-class folks, and she said it was hard getting to spend any time with Mark because he was always glued to the computer.

Also at that time, Mark couldn't exactly envision married life anytime soon, telling the newspaper that it was "such a serious commitment." But the pair ended up jumping the broom on Sept. 21, 2002.

Tiffany has maintained her private life, but she's frequently been spotted by Mark’s side on red carpets and at industry events. It seems she no longer works in advertising, but went on to become a philanthropist involved in multiple foundations.

Mark Cuban and Tiffany Stewart have three kids.

Over the years, the couple have welcomed three children into their union: Alexis (born in 2003), Alyssa (born in 2007), and Jake (born in 2010).

In a July 2023 interview with Kevin Hart on Hart to Hart (per People), when he was asked whether he hopes his kids would follow in his footsteps, Mark said they "didn't need to" — and he also gave some insight into his kids' differing personalities.

"My son, Jake, he's hustling and selling stuff all the time. My middle daughter, Alyssa, is 16, and she's kind of the artist. Then my oldest, Alexis, is kind of — she's got the world in front of her, wherever she decides to go. She's a freshman in college," Mark told Kevin.

And lest you worry that these kids have been spoiled, Mark explained in a November 2022 interview on Today with Hoda & Jenna how he and and Tiffany instilled a work ethic in them.

“I’m not the type of dad, and my wife is the same way, where we’re just bringing home presents and you don’t have to do anything,” Mark said. “We’re really consistent in telling them that they have to accomplish these things on their own. You don’t want to be Mark Cuban’s son or daughter your entire life. And I think they’ve really taken on to that.”
