Woman Accidentally Added To Chat Where Guys Said They Wanted To Take Turns On Her

One of the biggest gags of any comedic TV show or film is the three way phone call where someone doesn't know that the 3rd party is on the call. Then they inevitably talk sh*t about them and there's an awkwardness that produces laughs depending on the insane level of cringe associated with the comments the person made.
The modern day equivalent of that is being added to a group chat unbeknownst to others, and then catching someone talking smack about you.
Or in this woman's case, something much worse.
22-year-old Eleanor Henry was struck with horror when she was accidentally added to a group chat with fellow university students.
They shared Facebook photos of her and one student called her a "bike" while others started urging him to pursue her and even few a threw "tips" his way that would help him score with her.
The guys said that the messages were taken out of context, but, honestly, it's hard to find any situation where this would be appropriate.
The guys in the chat realized they accidentally added her and quickly booted her from the group...but didn't realize she could see everything else they said about her.
The worst part of the conversation was when they called her a "bike," implying that they'd bring her to Thailand for group sex.
When Henry posted the screenshots, she said she received an overwhelmingly supportive response from her friends.
"Let's all wave hello to my fellow peers at Melbourne University. This is why I'll die a feminist. It's 2016.. Let's get back to that conversation on equality." Henry said.
In an interview with Daily Mail Australia, Henry explained what it was like receiving the messages in real time.
"Aside from this contact I have never really engaged with them on a social level. The other two boys in the chat I have never met in my life. [After my phone started] blowing up with messages...My stomach dropped and I felt really sick, to the point where I felt I needed to close my blinds and hide under my blankets. After speaking with my sister I began to feel angrier and more passionate to evoke change. Initially though, which is very unlike me, I felt dirty, embarrassed and so, so offended. As a result I decided to publicly post the screenshots because I don't think it's right that this culture is perpetuated."
Then one of the guys in the group chat thought it'd be a good idea to message Eleanor to apologize and ask her to take the screenshots down.
He tried saying it was all "a joke."
But Eleanor wasn't having it.
Henry is choosing to not name the men and publicly shame them for what she did, but she said she's more concerned with sending a greater message about equality.
"It's not particularly relevant in achieving the outcome I wish to pursue on a larger scale, which ultimately is to bring awareness about the issue and have people understand that it should not be merely written off as 'boys being boys'."
