There's been a lot of hullaballoo not just surrounding Trump's conference today, and Rex Tillerson's hearing, but in the recent news cycle about the role Trump's children will have in the White House.
Not only are they getting unprecedented security clearances and access to levels of government than any other presidential family, but there's been a lot of talk as to whether or not Trump will appoint his own children to top government positions.
There was some backlash to Ivanka Trump's husband, Jared Kushner, being offered the senior advisor position in the Donald's cabinet, which left many people wondering what role Ivanka would play in her father's administration.
And Ivanka's latest Facebook post declaring that she's taking a formal leave of absence from her company, has got some people wondering what role she'll have.
Many, however, were overwhelmingly supportive of Ivanka's post and thought that her decision to "step down" from her own company was a classy move.
Some people had ideas of their own as to what her role should be.
Others, were more critical of Ivanka's decision and fear that nepotism will come into play if she were offered a potential role in government.
Ivanka will be living right around the corner from the Obamas in Washington. So Jared can drop by to borrow a cup of decency#Ivanka— Paul Rudnick (@PaulRudnickNY) January 7, 2017
As of now, whether or not Ivanka will be offered a role in government is all speculation. But with her giving up her business, moving to Washington, and being granted access to the White House, it's only a matter of time.
