If you've ever own a dog as a pet, then you know that they have an insanely high level of emotional intelligence. These guys are super sharp and part of the family. It's what makes them so good at doing jobs like sniffing bombs, catching bad guys, and just being all around awesome crime fighters. At the end of the day though, they're still family after they wind down after a big day of catching bad guys.
And Taiwan's National Police Agency (NPA) just got some new recruits. Sure, they're just over a month old and can barley hold their own heads up, but crime fighters need to start young. You have to get them going at a young age because many don't make it to the big show. Only the best of the best. But that's ok since they're the cutest members on the force by far, the agency decided to have a photo shoot with this years class of puppers:
The six puppies are the babies of one of the 22 adult dogs in the K-9 unit, which deal with bomb and drug incidents across Taipei. Seems like a pretty cool gig for them.
"The puppies' mom, named Yellow, is in the K-9 unit....the department that [deals with] anti drug and anti bomb [issues]," a spokesperson told Mashable. "We will train the puppies to join our police duties."
And since we're sure you want to know, they're named Lucky Star, Schumann, Feida, Brother, AJ and Full Moon.
"We hope that in the future the puppies can be like their mother Yellow, that they can pass through training successfully and enter the police force," a Facebook post reads.
LOOK AT THESE LITTLE LOAVES.
We're in safe hands.
