Vocal Donald Trump supporters are cropping up everywhere it seems. Whether its to remind Black arts & crafts store owners who their new President is going to be, or to tell the director of Kong: Skull Island he's a "liberal a** motherf***er", or even yelling at Black baristas and letting them know they voted for the Apprentice star.
Add this loud Delta passenger to the growing list of Trump-support outburst videos.
"Donald Trump baby!" The man shouts as he claps his hands and starts pointing at passengers on the plane. He appears to be drunk or at least painfully unaware of how awkward he's being.
The loud man went back to his seat and flew on the plane without repercussion for his outburst, even after asking if there were any "Hillary b****es on the plane.
Once the video was posted to social media, the internet was shocked he wasn't kicked off the flight, as airlines usually have zero tolerance for this sort of thing.
If a brown person stood up and bellowed on a plane like this, he'd be kicked off, but that's none of my business. (Kermit tea meme) https://t.co/bKSgHRsn5O— Seth MacFarlane (@SethMacFarlane) November 25, 2016
People then began tweeting at Delta, asking them if they were going to do anything about the on-board fiasco.
.@Delta as someone who works with brands for a living it is imperative you denounce any hatred to maintain the full trust of your customers.— Michael Skolnik (@MichaelSkolnik) November 26, 2016
Delta then responded to the incident.
"We are sorry to our customers who experienced this disruption. We have followed up with the teams involved and all agree that this customer should not have been allowed to continue on the flight. Our responsibility for ensuring all customers feel safe and comfortable with Delta includes requiring civil behavior from everyone. The behavior we see in this video does not square with our training or culture and follow up will continue so we can better ensure our employees will know they will be fully supported to make the right decisions when these issues arise." Delta said in a statement.
Not only did they ban the passenger from ever flying Delta again, but they gave full refunds to all other passengers.
Delta's CEO, Ed Bastian, shared a candid note online saying that they paid particularly close attention to this incident.
"The heightened tension in our society means that now more than ever we must require civility on our planes and in our facilities."
"Heightened tension" indeed. Maybe Trump will let him fly on Trump Airlines?
