There's a special kind of joy to be had when watching low budget renditions of famous blockbuster films.
Like those super cheap versions of Terminator 2: Judgment Day that are scattered around the internet.
Classic. It's just always funny to see someones low-budget attempt at some of our favorites.
As it turns out though, low budget versions of movies aren't just for fans. No, the stars who acted the real versions of the films themselves can have tons of fun parodying their own roles. Cause hey, it gets boring being rich and famous sometimes.
As proven by this hilarious impromptu live play version of Thor: Ragnarok staged by Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson, Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeff Goldblum. Yes you read that right -- basically the whole cast was in on this ingenious work of art.
As part of a hilarious Thor: Ragnarok 4D sketch conceived by James Corden and his crew, the stars put on a live performance of the movie for unsuspecting moviegoers going to see the latest Marvel blockbuster. They had no idea, but I'm sure it beats seeing the real thing cause now they have an awesome story to tell.
It was filled with gems like this:
Corden serves as a narrator throughout the entire thing and the whole play is truly something to witness. We'd pay to see this. Heck we'd pay double even!
You can watch all of the hilarity below:
What it looks for in refinement and special effects, it makes up in general hilarity. How awesome would it have been to catch that specific screening of the film? It's certain most of the fans who caught it will have a story for the ages, but we're sure there's that ONE GUY who decided to complain for a refund cause it wasn't the real thing.
