Find Out Who Gets Engaged on This Season of 'Bachelor in Paradise'
Updated Aug. 5 2019, 3:39 p.m. ET
Let the relationship drama begin! Everyone's favorite reality TV spin-off, Bachelor in Paradise, has officially started and fans are already wondering, who gets engaged in Mexico? After the August 7 premiere, which was filled with hookups, we're getting our popcorn ready as the drama will for sure begin to implode some of these relationships.
Though not every couples' relationship can weather the storm of the post-Mexican vacation, some couples do survive. For instance, Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are totally #relationshipgoals on Instagram after he popped the question on Season 2 of BiP. So, there is a chance some of these casual hookups will turn into full-fledged love.
Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon met on Bachelor in Paradise in 2016 and had an on-and-off relationship (was it a relationship?) since then. Jared finally pulled up his boot straps, professed his love for Ashley while she dated her Bachelor Winter Games co-star Kevin Wendt, and returned to Paradise to propose on the show. How romantic.
So, who else is joining Ashley and Jared with some Neil Lane engagement rings this season of BiP? Check out the SPOILERS below:
Jordan Kimball and Jenna Cooper
According to Reality Steve, Jenna (Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season) and Jordan (Becca Kufrin's season) get engaged during the finale. We were very surprised to learn Jordan actually made a love connection on BiP, seeing as he seemed more interested in his modeling career than in Becca on The Bachelorette last season.
Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson
Chris, aka Eddie from Friends (Becca's season), and Krystal (Arie's season) were both portrayed as their season's villains. However, these two big personalities apparently find common ground and get engaged. We can see how they could connect. They both have a love for fitness — and spreading drama.
Other couples to look out for on BiP:
Not every month-long relationship has to end in an engagement. Some BiP couples apparently do make it off the island still intact, just without a proposal.
John Graham (Becca's season) and Olivia Goethals (Arie's season) are allegedly still going strong. Olivia reportedly gives John her final rose, and the two decide to spend the night in the fantasy suite. And while there was no proposal, the two were recently spotted in Chicago. Though not pictured together, everyone used context clues to determine that this couple is very much still an item.
Kevin Wendt of Winter Games fame and Astrid Loch from Arie's season of The Bachelor also make it to the final rose ceremony — but decide to skip the overnight date and leave Paradise as friends. However, sources are reporting that they are still very much together, so expect a major announcement on the reunion show.
So, what happened between Colton Underwood and Tia Booth?
Unfortunately, the on-again, off-again couple did not survive Paradise and decided to leave the show early because they "didn't see themselves surviving in the real world," per Reality Steve. Too bad...
Though we don't know the current status of every relationship from the show, we can expect this BiP season will be full of twists, romances, and a bit a lot of drama.
