"Can you imagine having an abortion at 13 because your boss impregnated you. Committed because your father touched you?"

In June 2010, Amanda Bynes announced via Twitter that she was retiring from acting, per Complex. "Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem," she wrote. "If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it." Over the next three years, Bynes would be arrested for a DUI and a marijuana possession charge. This prompted her parents to file for a conservatorship in July 2013.
During all of this, Bynes's social media presence grew increasingly more erratic. In a series of tweets from her now deactivated account, Bynes accused her father of abusing her as a child. While under the conservatorship, someone claiming to be Bynes running a secret Twitter account came forward with more harrowing allegations involving her time at Nickelodeon. Here's what we know.
The alleged Amanda Bynes secret Twitter made some harrowing claims.
The @kadishalynnnn TikTok account resurrected Tweets that date back to 2016 from an account claiming to be Amanda Bynes's secret Twitter. The @PersianLa27 profile, which is active but set to private, claimed it was Bynes posting under the name Ashley Banks. In an effort to confirm her identity, what appeared to be a half-concealed photo of a portion of Bynes's driver's license was tweeted from the Ashley Banks account.
The allegations made from this account were incredibly disturbing. "Can you imagine having an abortion at 13 because your boss impregnated you. Committed because your father touched you," said one tweet. Another suggested her freedom was threatened because she tried to expose the truth. The official Amanda Bynes Twitter denounced these tweets which caused the Ashley Banks profile to tweet, "I've been forced to deny this account to prevent them from having me committed against my will. AGAIN!"
The TikTok then references a blind item from the now defunct Crazy Day and Night gossip site with whom Bynes supposedly had a good relationship. Bynes apparently sent them a coded message about Dan Schneider, the creator of The Amanda Show, who has multiple allegations of abuse lodged against him. This person thanks the gossip site for all their support using random all-caps letters that spell out Dan Did It.
Not everyone believes this is Amanda Bynes's secret Twitter account.
In September 2021, a Twitter account calling itself It's The Law B---- tweeted they have "reason to believe @PersianLa27 is not Amanda Bynes. This account routinely asks for money, no other form of help is allowed, and people are blocked once they send money." They also posted screenshots of an NDA the Ashley Banks account purportedly wants people to sign before they will engage with anyone.
The Law B---- account also sent a DM to the Ashley Banks profile hoping it was actually Bynes. "Sending you love and support," they wrote along with heart and justice scales emojis. The Ashley Banks account responded, "Nobody wants it. My name is Ashley Banks. Now leave ma one. Fruitcake." They then blocked the It's The Law B---- profile after they outed them as a liar.
