'Bachelor in Paradise' Is Already Filled With Drama — Check Out These Season 6 Spoilers!
Updated Aug. 5 2019, 3:42 p.m. ET
While we anxiously wait to see who Hannah Brown chooses as “the one” on The Bachelorette, we’ve already started gearing up for our favorite summer reality series, Bachelor in Paradise. Promising a slew of hookups, breakups, and drama-filled episodes, the ABC spin-off show features former cast members giving reality TV love another chance.
Temperatures are not the only thing set to rise during this Mexico getaway. Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise is scheduled to air this August, and we’re here to let you in on a few steamy spoilers.
1. The ladies of 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 6:
Good Morning America announced on Monday, June 17, the first seven contestants who will appear on the popular reality series. The ladies consist of: BIP alum Bibiana Julian (from Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s season), Demi Burnett and Tayshia Adams from Colton Underwood’s season are also filming down in Mexico.
2. Meet the guys from Season 6!
As for the first batch of men heading below the border, you’ll see John Paul Jones and Cam Ayala, who were just eliminated from Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette. The tropical reality series will also feature Clay Harbor and Blake Horstmann from Becca Kufrin‘s season.
You can see the full cast here!
3. The guy causing most of the drama on 'Bachelor in Paradise' is …
Every season, there is always one guy who is at the center of drama. According to Reality Steve, Blake Horstmann has been crowned that guy. After just one week of filming, the spoiler guru revealed that this season is already a “shit show.”
On June 13, Reality Steve tweeted: “One hint about Bachelor in Paradise … It’s the Blake Horstmann Show and it’s not even close. Nor is it good.” Adding, “And whatever you think it is, it’s worse than that.”
4. Is Blake Horstmann the new Dean Unglert?
One fan questioned if Reality Steve was hinting that Blake could potentially be involved in a love triangle, similar to fan-favorite Dean Unglert during Season 4 of the summer show. “No, he’s not the new Dean. Dean only juggled two women,” RS tweeted in response.
Remember, Dean was caught in a heated love triangle between Kristina Schulman and Danielle Lombard. So, just after one week of filming, Blake’s storyline already surpasses this infamous Bachelor Nation scandal. August can’t come soon enough!
5. But Dean Unglert is now dating Caelynn Miller-Keyes thanks to 'Paradise.'
According to People magazine, Dean and Caelynn are officially an item — but it wasn't all hearts and rainbows in Paradise, in typical Dean style. "They both went to Paradise and really hit it off there, but then Dean got cold feet and left," a source said. "He got home and realized he really had feelings for Caelynn, so went back to Paradise for a second chance."
6. 'BIP' Veteran Chris Bukowski proposes to Katie Morton.
It looks like fifth time was the charm. After his debut on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette, one appearance on Bachelor Pad, and two chances at love on Paradise, Chris finally found "the one." Chris reportedly proposes to Katie, who appeared on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor, on the show.
And they are not alone.
7. Demi Burnett gets engaged... but not to a former 'Bachelorette' contestant
For the first time in six seasons, there will be a same-sex couple on Bachelor in Paradise. Demi is allegedly engaged to girlfriend Kristian Haggerty — who has never competed on the reality dating series. In fact, she is Bachelor alum Catherine Agro's roommate.
“Not surprised by that since the whole thing was pre-planned and ABC will milk their first same-sex couple forever," RS said of the engagement.
8. And last (but not least) Hannah G. and Dylan are also engaged!
The third couple to get engaged during Season 6 is Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour.
In case you need a reminder, Hannah G. came in the Top 3 of Colton Underwood's Bachelor season while Dylan just came off Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette.
Cheers to the happy couple.
9. Plus, Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson get married on 'Bachelor in Paradise!'
According to Reality Steve, Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson's wedding was filmed in Mexico as part of Bachelor in Paradise. The reality star couple said "I do" in front of Bachelor Nation (and cameras) with a ceremony officiated by none other than Chris Harrison.
“We are so excited to start this new chapter of our lives together,” Krystal told People. “We will have each other’s backs forever.”
It's no surprise the newlyweds exchanged vows at the place where they fell in love. The pair met this time last year on Bachelor in Paradise and embarked on a whirlwind romance. Chris and Krystal's wedding will air during the season premiere of BIP.
We definitely can't wait! Watch the Season 6 premiere of Bachelor in Paradise on Aug. 5 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
