More than seven months after she was first announced to be the 16th Bachelorette, Clare Crawley is finally getting her chance in the driver's seat in her journey to find love.

The hairstylist is a veteran when it comes to dating on national television. She appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis' season of The Bachelor in 2013, and she later had stints on two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise. The reality star even got engaged on The Bachelor Winter Games back in 2018.

When Clare began filming her season at La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, Calif., a lot of speculation began about what was going down. It has been confirmed that Tayshia Adams will take over as the lead partway through the season, but there's so much more to know about what happens before then — including who Clare picks, and how she breaks the news to producers.

Clare's portion of The Bachelorette may be brief, but these spoilers may ensure that it's the most dramatic season yet.

Season 16 of 'The Bachelorette' begins with Clare — these are the spoilers for her part.

Because Clare's season was filmed during the coronavirus pandemic, it will be quite different from any other. Instead of filming at the Bachelor Mansion, the season took place at La Quinta Resort. While ABC put out cast bios for 42 potential suitors, only 31 of them ended up meeting Clare on the first night.

Bachelor/Bachelorette spoiler extraordinaire Reality Steve has the scoop on what went on during Clare's brief stint as the lead.

After the first cocktail party, Clare will send seven guys home. Reality Steve reported that there were only three cocktail parties before Clare decided to stop shooting. During those final two eliminations, Clare sent a total of seven more guys home.

Contestant Yosef Aborady will be one to watch out for — and not in a good way. He will allegedly be sent home before a rose ceremony after getting into a tiff with Clare regarding one of the group dates.

Yosef is likely going to be played up as the villain, and he is apparently the one who Clare is scolding in the teaser trailer for her season.

As for why Tayshia will fill in for Clare, the hairstylist finds love with contestant Dale Moss, who is a 32-year-old former NFL player. Clare admitted that she had looked at the social media profiles for her contestants, but that she did not speak with Dale before the season filmed.

Because she had looked at her suitors online, Clare had an idea of who her frontrunners could be, which included Dale. Reality Steve noted that Clare told producers about liking Dale's profile before the season commenced.

When Clare and Dale officially met in person, sparks flew, and Clare did not want to continue dating the other men. Her connection with Dale was evident to those around her as well, and she was not interested in faking other relationships for the cameras.

Tayshia began quarantining just over a week after Clare began filming her season, which has had some people questioning whether or not the twist was planned from the beginning. The end result of Tayshia's time as the lead is unclear yet, but she did date some of the men left from Clare's season. Other contestants were added to the mix as well, who had not made the cut for Clare's group.

Is Clare engaged now?

After four seasons on various shows within Bachelor Nation, Clare has met her match. Reality Steve confirmed that Dale and Clare will get engaged — which might help to soften the blow of her leaving the season so early on.

Dale was spotted in New York City following his time on the show, and it's unknown at this time if Clare joined him.

You can find out how it all goes down by tuning in to Season 16 of The Bachelorette. It airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
