Breckin Meyer and Kelly Rizzo Went Instagram Official After She Received Some Backlash
Kelly says that her new boyfriend, Breckin, is "kind, sweet, silly, thoughtful, completely hilarious, handsome."

It appears that Breckin Meyer is off the market! The actor and comedian suddenly went Instagram official with Kelly Rizzo, the widow of Bob Saget. Kelly is only the latest on his star-studded roster of prior relationships which also includes Anna Paquin, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Deborah Kaplan.
The new relationship was unveiled on Instagram when Kelly made a birthday tribute to her new beaux. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY! To the man who is kind, sweet, silly, thoughtful, completely hilarious, handsome, understanding, charming, forever curious, compassionate, witty, warm & wonderful. You deserve to be endlessly celebrated today," she wrote.
Kelly Rizzo and Breckin Meyer started dating in February 2024.
While the pair didn't make it social media official until May 2024, they made their true public debut a few months prior in February. Kelly and Breckin arrived to Janie's Fund charity event red carpet together, putting themselves in the public eye.
Kelly has been open that dating after the loss of her late husband Bob hasn't necessarily been easy. "It took a while," Kelly told E! News, "to get to the point where I'm like, ‘OK, I think he'd be happy with it.'"
She added that her children have given their blessing to the new relationship which helped her feel better about the situation. "I'd love to think that Bob would want me to be happy too, but to hear it from them is just a totally different level," Kelly told Fox News Digital. "And it meant the world just to hear, ‘Hey, we trust you. We love you. We know you're going to do what's right, and we want you to be happy.'"
Not only are her kids getting behind the relationship, but fans are also fully supportive of the new romance. "I'm crying happy tears for you, Kelly! You deserve to be happy and find love again. you know Bob would have wanted it that way....and I think you picked a great one!" wrote one.
Celebrities are also rooting for this pair. Television personality Savannah Chrisley even chimed in, writing: "I love this and I love you!!! No one deserves this happiness more than you."
Bob Saget died two years before Kelly's new relationship.
After Kelly and Breckin were spotted together, Kelly was hit with some pretty harsh criticism about the speech in which she moved on. She found herself entangled with Breckin only two years after Bob's passing. However, she shut down those complaints quicky.
"Unless you are a widow or a widower, you truly have absolutely no place and no right to comment on this because you do not know what it's like," she said on TikTok. "You just don't understand the incredibly complex and difficult and dynamic thoughts and feelings that come up during this entire process."
Kelly and Bob met through mutual friends in 2015. "He said, 'Hey, want to come to a show of mine and then go out for some burgers and lobsters?' ... And then I was like, 'Oh no, I kind of like him,'" Kelly described their relationship beginnings in a TikTok.
They were engaged in November 2017. "In case you're wondering, we were celebrating our engagement," Bob confirmed the news in an Instagram post. Kelly and Bob didn't wait long to make things official, either, getting married less than a year later.
