On Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, viewers are getting to know Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira, who met by chance during a video chat with his sister.
Right off the bat, Brittany admitted that Yazan isn’t like her past boyfriends. "I dated all these wealthy guys, but even though I was living the high life, deep down inside I was really lonely," she confessed on the TLC series.
"It’s a little different with Yazan because he’s actually younger than I am… He doesn’t have billions or millions of dollars, but I am super, super in love with him," the 27-year-old revealed. Has the duo managed to maintain their long distance relationship amid the coronavirus pandemic?
Are Brittany and Yazan still together on '90 Day Fiancé'?
Based on their recent social media activity, it doesn’t look like the pair is still together, though they could be keeping a low profile to not spoil the show. Brittany was able to visit Yazan’s hometown of Amman, Jordan right before the U.S. went into lockdown due to COVID-19.
On the reality series, the engaged couple has constantly clashed over their contrasting cultures, as well as Brittany’s refusal to convert to Islam. But in an Instagram post earlier this month, which has since been deleted, the brunette beauty defended her decision to follow Yazan to the Middle East.
"Let’s talk about the loud and wrong crew. The ones who told me to do research they hadn’t done themselves," Brittany allegedly wrote after the fourth episode aired.
"So, after traveling extensively I found out Americans are severely undereducated," she continued. "We just think intelligence comes with the citizenship or we repeat what we watch on TV… continuously making gross general assumptions that threaten & violate people’s individual integrity."
Brittany went on to say that she didn’t do the show for "clout," but wanted to help educate Americans on different cultures. "Plus this is a time for inclusion," she added.
"TLC has been ahead of the ball in having POC [people of color] represented in their network. If you don’t believe… someone like me and someone like Yazan would never hook up you clearly live in a box."
Brittany claimed she was hacked after accusing Yazan of cheating.
The Florida native, who’s currently in the process of getting divorced, seemingly accused her fiancé of being unfaithful before alleging that her Instagram account had been hacked.
"Fun facts about us: Yazan’s favorite drink is Jack Daniels. Yazan loves hashish, tramadol, and gaslighting women. He also loves to cheat with 90 Day Fiancé fans. He’s on his third one," Brittany reportedly wrote.
"His favorite pastime is blaming others for his actions. Enjoy," she said before asking, "[Yazan] did I miss anything? Should I honorably mention your out of control temper?"
On her Instagram Stories, Brittany added, "Woke up in a f--k you mood. Tired of misogynists who think they can groom women. Ima kill all that on behalf of my ladies. F--k misogynist[s]. Women are queens."
After the posts went viral, Brittany simply stated, "I was hacked or whatever." Yazan hasn't responded to the cheating allegations.
New episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way air Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
