BTS Fans Can Now Carry Their Favorite Princes of Pop In Their Pockets Thanks To Mattel

BTS fans, or rather the ARMY, are proud to stan the septet. And thanks to Mattel, they're now going to have another way to show their love. Mattel has announced via Instagram and Twitter that a new set of BTS dolls is set to be released. Fans can soon get their favorite princes of pop in a new pint-sized form.
Just how cute are the new BTS dolls? They're off the charts adorable.
Although Mattel made the announcement on October 22, it turns out BTS sort of made the announcement four days prior. In a video for their House of BTS pop-up, fans are treated to an animated version of the band dancing to their hit "Idol." The video is titled "BTS(방탄소년단) Character Trailer - The cutest boy band in the world" and, indeed, the pocket-sized version of the group should be classified as the cutest boy band around.
The mini BTS members that we see in the video are how the band members are portrayed by their new Mattel alter-egos. We'll see V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, and Suga all rocking styles that are very uniquely theirs. Giant models of the dolls have also been put on display at the band's new pop-up so fans can get a better look at the adorable figurines before taking one of their own home.
The new dolls are just three inches tall and each one is attached to a base that bares the name of the member it's representing. The tiny figures are even posed to show off a bit of the personality of each member.
How can I get my hands on the new BTS mini dolls?
At the moment, these mini dolls are still labeled as "Coming Soon." According to Amazon, though, all seven dolls are set to drop on November 11. But considering how big the BTS ARMY is, you may want to consider taking Amazon up on their preorder option.
Although the mini dolls are arguably the cutest dolls possible, this collaboration isn't the first between Mattel in BTS. In March, Mattel launched a collection of fashion dolls, with each of the seven members of the group wearing an outfit inspired by their style in the "Idol" music video. Considering the fact that the fashion dolls were available at Target, Amazon, Walmart, and Toys R Us Canada, it's likely that fans will again be able to pick up the dolls at those retailers.
If you just can't wait until November 11, you do have another option. It appears the dolls are available at the House of BTS pop up experience in Seoul so if you're lucky enough to attend, you might be able to take one of the mini dolls home with you. Otherwise, Cokodive is selling the dolls from the pop up, but at $42.95 USD per doll. But considering other retailers will be selling the new dolls at $9.99 USD, you might be better off waiting.
