Meet the Voice Acting Cast Behind 'Bugsnax'

Part bugs. Part snacks. That's the backstory to the cute little creatures on Snaktooth Island in the new PlayStation game Bugsnax. The game, which is being developed by Young Horses Games (who also developed Octodad), is set to hit PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on Nov. 12, the same day Sony's newest console launches.
While Fall Guys may currently be the cutest game on the PlayStation Play Store, Bugsnax is bound to steal that position from them very, very soon.
The title hasn't even been released yet, but the voice acting cast is stacked, with some big names coming from other franchises to give life to these lovely creatures. These are just some of the voices in the cast of Bugsnax.
Casey Mongillo voices Floofty Fizzlebean
Floofty Fizzlebean is a gastroenterologist, studying how bodies react to consuming bugsnax. Casey has also voiced Vernon Cherry in Red Dead Redemption, Ambassador Surah in Star Trek Online, and Casey Kessler in Fallout 4: WRVR, among other roles.
Yuri Lowenthal voices Chandlo Funkbun
Chandlo Funkbun claims to be the brawn and the brains of the group. Yuri is probably best known as the voice of Ben Tennyson across the Ben 10 franchise, as well as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Max Mittelman voices Filbo Fiddlepie
Filbo Fiddlepie is Snaktooth Island's "mayor," as indicated by his very plain sash. Max is nearing 200 acting credits, including various voice acting roles in The Last of Us Part II, the Paleontologist in Death Stranding, and Troy Calypso in Borderlands 3.
Cassandra Lee Morris voices Beffica Winklesnoot
Beffica Winklesnoot is definitely not here for your drama, so don't come to her with any new "dumpster fires." Cassandra also voiced Stacie in Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures, Ginseng in Indivisible, and Iris in Pokémon Masters.
Sam Riegel voices Gramble Gigglefunny
Gramble Gigglefunny is trying to breed the cute little critters, but it's kind of clear he doesn't know what he's doing. Sam is somewhat of a pro in the voice acting scene, with more than 350 acting credits and a couple of Emmys for his directing.
Haviland Stillwell voices Triffany Lottablog
Triffany Lottablog is Snaktooth Island's archaeologist extraordinaire. Haviland was also Patty in Devil May Cry 5, Metro in Anki Overdrive, and Raquelle in the TV series short Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse.
Helen Sadler voices Lizbert Megafig
Lizbert Megafig is excited about the new life surrounded by bugsnax. In addition to voicing Havina Vonreg in the Star Wars: Squadrons video game, Helen has also made appearances in NCIS as Julie and True Bloods as Claudija.
Kenna Ramsey voices Wiggle Wigglebottom
Wiggle Wigglebottom is somewhat of a celebrity among her peers — but don't worry, she has time for the little people, too. Kenna is newer to the voice acting game, and Bugsnax is her first video game gig!
Fryda Wolff voices Eggabell Batternugget
Eggabell Batternugget is a bit of a worrywart, but that's just because she cares. Fryda has voice acting roles in battle royale game Apex Legends as Loba, Tressa Colozone in Octopath Traveler, and Gabriela in Just Cause 4.
Many other notable voice actors voice the various bugsnax.
Each of the bugsnax are based on different foods, but they still get some notable voice actors of their own. Courtenay Taylor voices the Cheepoof, Michael Schwalbe voices the Scoopy Banoopy, Robbie Daymond voices the Buffalocust, Cristina Vee voices the Cheezer, Tom Taylorson voices the Bunger, Abby Trott voices the Hunnabee, and Julie Nathanson voices the Banopper (among other bugsnax).
