Potential Number One Draft Pick Caleb Williams Has a Steady Girlfriend

Few quarterbacks have entered their drafts with more hype than Caleb Williams. The former USC quarterback is expected to be the first overall pick, and some suspect that he could eventually become one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

Even as pundits debate his prowess on the field, though, some NFL fans are also curious about Caleb's personal life. Specifically, they want to know whether he's in a relationship. Here's what we know about Caleb's relationship status, and who he might be dating.

Caleb is currently dating Valery Orellana, who was born in 2002 and comes from a Latin American family. Fluent in both English and Spanish, and she is just as passionate about sports as her partner. The two have been dating for more than three years, and went Instagram official in October of 2020 when they shared a photo of them preparing to go to prom together.

For her part, Valery is a native of Rockville, Mar. and she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at the Hussman School of Media and Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She is also the co-founder of an organization called Evenin' Out the Playing Field, which she describes as "an organization targeting people of color to participate in predominately white sports to increase diversity and inclusion with free clinics that bridge the gap of accessibility."

Although Caleb has become one of the most prominent athletes in the country, his relationship with Valery has been relatively private. The two rarely share photos of one another on social media, but she can frequently be seen supporting him at games and other major events. Caleb's reputation has certainly grown in the years they've been dating, but hopefully Valery can keep him humble.

Although he is still just a college athlete, his net worth is already estimated to be roughly $3 million. If he lives up to the hype and proves to be as good as many football commentators believe he will be, that valuation is likely to skyrocket in the years ahead. Although rookie contracts don't typically come with astronomical salaries, if Caleb proves to be a long-term franchise starter for whatever team drafts him, he could command more than $60 million a year on his next contract.

Of course, that's on top of all the endorsements and other deals that he's likely to get if he proves to be a star in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have both proven that winning on the field can translate to plenty of success off the field.

That enormous success will likely be a sea-change for Caleb and everyone around him, but before that can happen, he has to perform on the field. Until that happens, the rest is all just speculation about how good he might be.
