What Happened to Charli D'Amelio? The TikTok Star's Nudes Were Reportedly Leaked

Every avid TikTok user is all too familiar with Charli D'Amelio. The social media star — known for her viral choreography and lip-synching — is one of the biggest names on the increasingly popular short-form video platform. But recently, the big-name content creator and social media influencer experienced one of the worst privacy breaches out there: someone reportedly leaked her private photos.

And with that, you might be wondering: who exposed Charli D'Amelio's private photos? And why did they do such a thing? Here is absolutely everything we know regarding the 15-year-old social media star's highly invasive privacy breach.

According to popular gossip YouTube account, Tea Exposed, partially nude photos of Charli were unfortunately leaked to the masses via Twitter on Christmas Eve. The photos in question were taken in a mirror, exposing the social media star's almost-bare butt. Based on the text in each photo, they appeared to have been sent through Snapchat. 

So basically, Charli sent a Snapchat, which was most likely intended to be private. And whoever was on the receiving end of that Snapchat decided to leak it to the entire Twitterverse. Not only is she a minor, at 15 years old, but it's a seriously heinous privacy breach. The problem is, nobody is sure who to blame.

Nobody is quite sure who leaked Charli's private photos — Tea Exposed mentioned the photos were initially sent out from someone named "Kiara" via Twitter, but it's unclear who is behind the account, or if they actually know Charli personally. How did they get their hands on the photos, though? We might never know. 

Although we looked for the initial tweet, it couldn't be found. There's a chance the person deleted their account — to either avoid being exposed themselves, due to violating Twitter guidelines, or because they were receiving hate. It's seriously a mystery, but hopefully, they'll be punished for their actions eventually.

You may be familiar with TikTok user Chase Hudson, who goes by Lilhuddy on the social media platform. Rumor has it that Chase might be dating Charli. And if he didn't tweet the photo, could he have taken a screenshot of her private photos, and sent them out to someone else, who proceeded to tweet it?

No information concerning the culprit has been confirmed yet, and there's a likely chance Chase had nothing to do with it. Pinpointing the culprit, however, isn't nearly as important as it is to ensure Charli is doing OK right now. 

Despite these highly unfortunate circumstances, however, it seems as though Charli is enjoying spending time with family during the holidays — she posted some adorable family photos to Instagram, avoiding the issue of her nasty privacy breach. Honestly, though, this privacy breach is the ghost of Christmas past — she deserves to have all of the holiday fun.
