'Bachelor in Paradise' Contestant Christian Estrada Hasn't Had the Best Luck on Reality TV

One of the reasons we love Bachelor in Paradise so much is that new cast members arrive each week to keep the drama alive — and Christian Estrada from Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette seems poised to do just that.
Given that the 30-year-old didn’t make it past Night 1 on Season 14, it’s safe to say that most of Bachelor Nation doesn’t know much about Christian. Here’s what we found.
Christian Estrada from Bachelor in Paradise used to play semi-professional soccer.
The Mexican-born athlete moved to the United States when he was 3 years old and set his sights on a career in soccer. Sadly, an injury forced him to retire from the sport.
Christian talked about his love for the game in a December 2018 Instagram post. "Playing soccer with your feet is one thing, but playing soccer with your heart is another... Missing the sport that gave me strength, discipline, and dedication," he wrote at the time.
Nowadays, the former banker (at least that’s what he claimed to be on The Bachelorette) brands himself as a model, actor, and entrepreneur. Based on his social media, it looks like he books most of his modeling gigs in Mexico.
Christian also likes to flaunt his lavish lifestyle in front of his 35.5k Instagram followers, often posing in designer duds, fancy sports cars, and pristine pools. And he clearly thinks of himself as a catch.
After his elimination on The Bachelorette, the fitness enthusiast mused, "Rejection doesn’t mean you aren’t good enough. It means the other person failed to notice what you have to offer."
Here’s what happens to Christian Estrada on Bachelor in Paradise. (SPOILERS)
If you think Blake Horstmann’s f--kboy scandal is bad, wait until you see Christian’s fight on the beach with fellow Bachelorette Season 14 reject Jordan Kimball.
According to Reality Steve, both of the men enter Paradise after the first rose ceremony and get into a physical altercation right before the second one. Apparently, contestant Nicole Lopez-Alvar is at the center of the drama.
Christian, who’s said to be interested in Nicole, attempts to have some one-on-one time with her but is interrupted by Clay Harbor, who already partnered up with the brunette beauty in Week 1. But it sounds like Christian won’t let the former NFL player cut in.
When Clay returns to the group and explains the situation, Reality Steve reports that an angry Jordan goes to confront Christian about his behavior. One thing leads to another and Jordan allegedly body slams Christian to the ground after they exchange words.
Security is then brought in to break them up and Chris Harrison kicks both of the guys off the show. Sounds like Clay played his cards exactly right — aka got another contestant to do his dirty work for him.
Christian teased the brawl with a short clip on social media. "IT'S NOT GOOD TO WAKE A SLEEPING LION," he wrote.
Watch his short-lived stint in Paradise play out on Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
