How Are Dani and Donovan From 'Marrying Millions' Doing Now?

There's something about these juicy reality TV shows that just capture our attention. The contestants or people who take part in these shows always seem to have lives way more interesting than we do. Their problems are bigger, the solutions to the issues are more inventive, and the personalities are always far grander. 

One show where this definitely holds true is Marrying Millions — and as the second season airs, we want to know what Dani and Donovan from Marrying Millions are doing now. 

The show from Lifetime follows real life couples who are struggling due to the differences in their careers or bank account. Dani and Donovan joined the reality TV show for its second season and these two have a longer history together than most on the show. Dani, whose full name is Daniela Michelle Parra, and Donovan Ruffin went to high school together in Texas where they grew up. 

At the time, they were only friends but later, after each had graduated from college, they met up again and started dating. The two have been an item for three years and the troubles they've had in their relationship stem from Donovan's multi-million-dollar real estate business. Dani works with him at his company, but she's described as being a "low-paid employee" and this dynamic is what is causing friction in their relationship. 

According to Dani, people question her motives of being in a relationship with Donovan, who is more affluent and successful than she is. He seems to have no issue showering her with affection, but she's tired of being scrutinized in public. 

In the second season, the show focuses on the relationship with Donovan seeking Dani's father's permission to ask her to be his wife. Being on reality TV doesn't always have the best track record for couples, but not all are destined to fail. 

Despite their differences, the two are still together and have been hanging out more since the pandemic hit. According to The Cinemaholic, Dani no longer works at Donovan's real estate company, focusing her attention to something she really enjoys — interior design. 

As for Donovan, in an Instagram update posted in mid-April 2020, he confirmed that he and Dani are still a couple and shared his business goals with his friends and followers.

"I’ve been able to spend more quality time with my dog and my woman," he said. "I’ve been able to schedule more time on conference calls with friends, mentors, & students around the country considering they are home to! I’ve been able to provide work from home jobs for my team, so they can keep growing." 

He continued, "I’ve been able to develop new positions to hire new teammates who may have lost their jobs. I’ve been able to get a clear site of what my business needs & doesn’t need as far as expenses & overhead. I’ve been able to raise over $15M to buy more real estate. This will allow us to help a significant amount of families sell their homes when nobody else can buy them." 

Dani also confirmed their relationship recently on Instagram, sharing a photo of the two of them on Aug. 21 with the caption, "True story: left him on read a couple years ago."

Marrying Millions airs on Lifetime Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
