SPOILERS! 'Bachelor in Paradise' Will Reportedly Feature a Same-Sex Couple on Season 6

Beaches, booze, and Bachelor in Paradise … summer has officially begun. Filming for the ABC reality spin-off series recently wrapped, and reports have surfaced that there is at least one engagement that took place during the Mexico getaway.  

Past contestants from the Bachelor and Bachelorette hope to find love (or at least a summer hookup) on the reality dating series. Season 6 is already promising to be hotter and more drama-filled, and we certainly can’t wait to watch it all go down. While we’re sure there will be a number of tears, fights, and OMG-moments, one already leaked spoiler is that Demi Burnett got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise … and cameras were there to capture it all.  

Fans went into a frenzy after Reality Steve posted the news that the bad girl from Colton Underwood’s season is now engaged. “Filming wrapped yesterday. Here's at least one engagement I can confirm happened,” the outlet tweeted. 

After years of heterosexual relationships, the Bachelor is finally showcasing same-sex couples on the series. RS revealed that the blonde beauty got engaged to girlfriend Kristian Haggerty. However, the outlet added: “Not surprised by that since the whole thing was pre-planned and ABC will milk their first same-sex couple forever." 

Though Kristian has never appeared on the Bachelor series, she and her fiancée reportedly met through a mutual friend. According to Soap Dirt, Kristian is Catherine Agro's roommate, who appeared on Colton’s season with Demi. It has been reported that Kristian will show up on the BIP beach as a major plot twist.  

So, who is Kristian? According to her website, Kristian works in the realm of entertainment, actively pursuing career opportunities in production, acting, and modeling. In April, the Los Angeles native posted an Instagram picture alongside Demi, which she captioned, “The one thing missing to complete a perfect weekend.”

We definitely can’t wait to watch their on-screen romance. 

Each season, there is always one Bachelor Nation member we can count on to cause the most drama on the island. And, during Season 6 of the popular ABC series, that honor goes to … Blake Horstmann.  

The reality spoiler guru, RS, revealed: “One hint about Bachelor in Paradise … It’s the Blake Horstmann Show and it’s not even close. Nor is it good.” Adding, “And whatever you think it is, it’s worse than that.” Apparently, Blake will be juggling multiple women at one time. Yes, we’re already having flashbacks of Dean Unglert. 

Besides the relationship drama, another moment fans can look forward to is Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson's wedding, which was filmed in Mexico as part of a BIP special. Cameras captured the reality star couple exchanging vows, and as an added bonus, the ceremony was officiated by none other than Chris Harrison. Congrats to the happy couple!
