'Love During Lockup': Samantha Voices Concerns Over Rick's Commitment (EXCLUSIVE CLIP)

Although we like to think it's a myth, sometimes, love does find you when you least expect it! Just ask Love During Lockup couple Rick and Samantha. Despite the hurdles posed by Samantha's incarceration, they fell deeply and passionately in love.

Initially, their relationship flourished — but lately, signs of trouble have emerged. In fact, in an exclusive clip obtained by Distracitfy, Samantha confronts Rick about his commitment and wonders whether he's throwing in the towel before they've even met.

The exclusive clip begins with Samantha and Rick on a FaceTime call, where Samantha directly questions Rick about his intentions regarding their relationship. She directly asks him if he has "any plans" to put effort into making their marriage work or if he's already giving up.

"Rick [sought] me out in prison, and he laid it on thick. I fell deeper in love with him, and to just end this before we're even together makes no sense," Samantha reveals in a phone confessional from the East Boise Reentry Center in Idaho.

As we rejoin the FaceTime conversation, Samantha directly asks Rick, "Are you dead set on being done?" Rick hesitates, managing only a feeble response: "I just… I don't know."

Back in Samantha's confessional, she drops a bombshell: "I heard Sandy was forcing herself on him at the reunion," she discloses, as a flashback shows Rick and his friend Sandy embracing warmly. "And that's what I think it is, um, that he's been cheating [on me] and finding a reason to sabotage this so he could, I guess, be with Sandy."

As the clip wraps up, Samantha bids Rick farewell with a sharp remark: "Have a good time with Sandy," before ending the call, leaving Rick staring blankly at his phone.

Now, only time will reveal whether Samantha and Rick do, in fact, break up — but we think this FaceTime conversation might be telling enough.
