Could Tom Squared really be roomies? Besties Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval are friends, so surely they could live together, right? After all, with Ariana Madix now out of the house she once shared with Sandoval, nothing is stopping him.
The Vanderpump Rules guys have actually considered it. The pair revealed during the first part of the Season 11 reunion that they were talking about the possibility of living together, but there were a lot of pieces at play. And after the reunion aired, Schwartz spoke out about the opportunity to move in with his friend despite the "optics" he was worried about.
Does Tom Schwartz live with Tom Sandoval?
While it could have been a roommate match made in heaven, no, Schwartz and Sandoval don't live together. At least, for now. After Sandoval split from Ariana, he admitted that he didn't want to lose the home they shared.
However, a huge house like that would surely get pretty lonely, so he came up with a plan. "I do have a proposition," Schwartz said in Season 11, Episode 12. "I would consider keeping the house if I had a roommate."
Schwartz inquired further, wondering what the rent charge would be. Sandoval's offer was a steep $6,000, which Schwartz claimed he simply couldn't afford. "Dude, the bar almost ruined me," Schwartz told him.
"I just want to make sound financial decisions from here on out," Schwartz added in a confessional. "I mean, the last high-stakes venture I did with Sandoval, you know, it's kind of still haunting me to this day."
"I can not in good conscience put [$6,000] toward something that I'm not going to get a return on. I'm not building equity in here," Schwartz said. However, Sandoval revealed that Schwartz's current rent is running at $4,500. Still, it wasn't in the cards for them.
Tom Schwartz is building a house in Florida.
Schwartz appeared on both Kristen Doute's podcast and Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's podcast following the reunion and shared an update on his living situation. He revealed that no, he didn't move in with Sandoval, but added that he would financially help out his friend if he needed it.
He also revealed that he is planning to build a house in Florida for his family. It doesn't sound like that will become his homebase, but Schwartz isn't opposed to the idea of maybe, possibly, settling down in Florida someday.
"If I had to pick, for the rest of my life, f--k it, I'm going back to Florida," Schwartz said on Kristen's podcast Balancing Act when asked if he would choose California or his home state of Florida if forced to.
Does Ariana Madix live alone?
Ariana was very busy after her split from Tom. She secured gigs on Dancing With the Stars and the Broadway musical Chicago. All of this business led her to buy a new home for herself.
Page Six revealed that Ariana scooped up a $1.6 million mansion in Los Angeles. An insider said, "Ariana has fallen in love with this home and is excited for a new chapter."
The home includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms across two floors. The main floor reportedly has an open-concept layout with a gorgeous kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and brass hardware.
There's a gorgeous view of the Hollywood sign from the main suite. Ariana can also throw some serious get-togethers as she has plenty of entertaining space in her backyard. The private area includes space for 20 with a seating area and meditation deck.
It looks like Ariana and Sandoval are moving on fully as they explore their new living arrangements.
