Dr DisRespect Is Reported To Have an Impressive Net Worth Despite Leaving Twitch

In 2020, after amassing millions of Twitch followers, Dr DisRespect, otherwise known as his real name Guy Beahm, was banned from the platform. At the time, little was released in regards to details surrounding his banishment from streaming as a gamer. But now, with allegations coming to light about the reason behind it all, fans have lots of questions, including but not limited to: what is Dr DisRespect's net worth?

Dr DisRespect joined Twitch in 2011, and as he acquired followers, he became known for his abrasive and sarcastic behavior as he streamed himself playing various video games. As a result, he made a living from Twitch, along with videos and streams on YouTube, and he even started his own game studio. With new allegations about why Twitch banned him, though, plenty has changed for the streamer.

According to multiple outlets, Dr DisRespect once wrote in a blog on the G Fuel website that his net worth was $3.5 million. That makes sense, given his previous streaming on various platforms and his sponsorships outside of actual gaming. While part of that net worth might stem from his game studio Midnight Society, the company released a statement in June 2024 about letting Dr DisRespect go.

The company effectively severed ties to Dr DisRespect amid the allegations that he sent inappropriate Twitch messages to an underage user, which is alleged to be the reason Twitch banned him. While Dr DisRespect's net worth might still rank fairly high as a gamer, because of the allegations, his career as a streamer could be changed dramatically.

After Cody Conners, the former Account Director of Strategic Partnership at Twitch, tweeted that Dr DisRespect "got caught sexting a minor in the then existing Twitch whispers product," and had allegedly planned to meet the minor at TwitchCon, Dr DisRespect released his own lengthy statement on Twitter.

Part of the statement reads:

"Were there Twitch Whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not. These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more. Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual. I went through a lengthy arbitration regarding a civil dispute with twitch and that case was resolved by a settlement. Let me be clear, it was not a criminal case against me and no criminal charges have ever been brought against me."
