It’s no secret that Circa Las Vegas is one of the (if not the) most sports-centered casinos in the entire city. From the world’s largest sportsbook with a jaw-dropping 78-million-pixel screen to Stadium Swim — Circa’s monumental year-round outdoor pool amphitheater features a whopping 143-foot screen. All sports fanatics in Vegas know exactly where to go when March Madness, Super Bowl, or any high-energy event rolls around.
It’s not only the fans who know that Circa’s the ultimate hotspot, though. Athletes of all kinds, from all sports, have been spotted spending their downtime at Downtown Las Vegas’s newest property. Fans have spotted countless greats, from undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather to UFC President Dana White, to the one and only Mike Tyson, checking out the premises.
Most recently, NFL all-time legend and Hall-of-Fame inductee, three-time Super Bowl champion, and the man with more rushing yards and rushing touchdowns than anybody else, Dallas Cowboy Ring of Honor member Emmitt Smith was spotted hanging out at the popular casino.
There, he was relaxing at Legacy Club – Circa’s elegant rooftop cocktail lounge, chatting it up with the hotel’s CEO and Owner, Derek Stevens. They stepped out onto the beautiful patio and took in the marvelous panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley.
Naturally, it was the best backdrop for a photo! The NFL icon snapped a picture with the legendary Las Vegas businessman, and then it was time for a team huddle! Smith and his business partners joined Mr. Stevens, Circa’s Chief Operating Officer David Rosborough, and Vice President of Operations John Fiato for a golden hour photo op like no other.
That same evening, world-champion boxer, Angelo Leo, was seen showing Derek Stevens exactly how he threw his famous knockout punch while hanging at the world’s largest sportsbook!
Leo recently celebrated a giant victory against Venado Lopez when he delivered the knockout of the year and became a two-division title holder! In his epic celebratory video, everyone spotted the Circa Sports logo written across his boxing shorts, so it only made sense that he’d stop by to check the place out for himself! Leo was awestruck by the mind-blowing views provided by the massive three-story sportsbook – reasonably so.
The casino owner traveled 60 stories high, back to Legacy Club, where he was introduced to former elite Navy SEAL operator, part of SEAL teams 5, 6, and 17, Daniel Corbett. Mr. Stevens chatted with Corbett about his brand new book, American Mercenary, where he ”takes readers on a wild ride through the unadulterated, morally ambiguous, and riveting world of being a hired gun.”
Derek was given one of the first signed copies which has since been released and on sale now.
Needless to say, At Circa Las Vegas, you never know when you’ll score a photo with an all-time great!
