'Dodgeball Thunderdome' Host Erin Lim Is Engaged to Boyfriend Joshua Rhodes

While Dodgeball Thunderdome certainly won't be Erin Lim's first foray into hosting, it may be her most unique gig yet. She's co-hosting the Discovery competition series with YouTube superstar David Dobrik, and it's already being hailed as the ideal combination of Wipeout and an elementary school gym class.

David's own love life has been the subject of speculation — from his tight-knit bond with assistant Natalie Mariduena to his flirtation with singer Madison Beer — but there's more clarity on his co-host's romantic life. 

Recently, Erin announced she was engaged to her longtime boyfriend Joshua Rhodes! Keep reading to find out the latest on Erin's relationship and who her famous ex is. 

The 30-year-old TV personality gushed about her engagement to Joshua, and shared all the details on the romantic proposal. 

"I knew after our first date he was going to be my future husband," she told E! News. "He proposed at my parent's house in Los Angeles."

She continued, "We were surrounded by our immediate families and a few close friends. I thought we were going on a date night after dropping off Pearl at my parents. But they were there in the backyard as he popped the question!"

FYI, Pearl is Erin's adorable pup. 

Joshua is the creative director of a clothing brand, The Last Adam, which focuses on T-shirts, hats, and sweatshirts. The pieces feature images and phrases related to Christianity.    

The couple met at church in 2018 and went Instagram official a year later. Erin first posted a tender video with her beau in July of 2019, which she simply captioned, "🥰." Joshua actually confirmed their romance months earlier, in March of 2019. 

Prior to beginning her romance with Joshua, Erin was in a long-term relationship with actor Lamorne Morris. He's best known for playing Winston Bishop on the hit Fox sitcom New Girl. 

The couple first sparked relationship rumors in 2016, and they later explicitly confirmed that they were together when they attended the 2017 Emmy Awards together. 

Erin later recounted her Emmys experience to E! News, and she addressed that she was in a relationship with the actor. 

"My first Emmys experience couldn't have gone better: from my glam team making me feel like a princess, to the production team getting me so well-prepared, to having my mom by my side, all the way to the amazing surprise from my boyfriend Lamorne Morris..." she said. 

Lamorne posted his last photo with Erin in October of 2017, but the couple continued making red carpet appearances together until May of 2018. It's unclear when exactly the couple called it quits on their relationship. Neither Erin nor Lamorne have publicly addressed their breakup, and Erin has evidently moved on with Joshua. 

Lamorne has not posted about being in another relationship since his split from Erin, but he could be keeping his private life under wraps these days. 

As for Erin, we are sure she is busy wedding planning!
