What to know about Gio and Kayla's drama on 'Selling the OC.'

In the third season of Selling the OC, which dropped on Netflix on May 3, 2024, Gio and Kayla go head-to-head over a highly coveted $28 million listing. Ultimately, it's Kayla who proves herself to be the perfect agent for the property, leaving Gio absolutely furious.

Gio claims he played a significant role in securing the property for the Oppenheim Group. He claims that his boss, Jason Oppenheim, and "office management" reached out to him when the listing for the property had expired and was owned by another agent at another brokerage.

As it turns out, Gio used to work with this agent — so Jason and management called him and asked for tactics on how to persuade the agent to give the listing to the Oppenheim Group. Wait, did Kayla ever sell the $28 million property?

Throughout the whole season, everyone has an opinion about whether Kayla is prepared to take on such a high-end listing. Sadly, the finale leaves fans with a cliffhanger as Kayla is shown removing the Oppenheim Group sign from the property's lawn. Of course, this leaves many viewers wondering: Does she manage to sell the property?

Well, yes! In May 2024, Kayla spoke with Tudum and shared details of the sale.

"It was obviously the biggest listing I've had, and there were a lot of ups and downs," she told the outlet. "We bent over backward for a lot of things, but it turned out to be great. We sold it in the 11th hour. It was a quick close for $25 million, so I'm very thankful."

With a substantial stack of cash in her bag, Kayla's career has never looked so promising. She told Tudum, "I have a lot of great things [going on] now. I'm still, of course, doing my real estate, and I've been picking up a lot of momentum."

"I'm now a certified life coach. I brought back my podcast. I've been speaking on stages. I'm just giving back to the community, and it's been very fulfilling," she added.

All three seasons of Selling the OC are now streaming on Netflix.
