"I feel like I'm going to go nuts if you don't pick me, that's it," judge Kelly Clarkson said after she saw Gracee Shiver perform the first time during the Blind Auditions section of The Voice.

The 17-year-old, Oklahoma-born singer's bittersweet take on Kelly Musgrave's "Rainbow" left every judge in awe, but it was Kelly who managed to secure her on her team.

What else should we know about Gracee Shriver, The Voice's youngest contestant?

Meet Gracee Shriver, the youngest The Voice participant.

Before joining The Voice, Gracee worked as a singer-performer at a local joint near her hometown of Owasso, OK.

As she explained in a previous The Voice video, singing has always been her main ambition, closely followed by maintaining a tip-top student record and working on her tennis skills.

In her brief introduction to "Rainbow," Gracee always made a few allusions to her philosophy in life.

"Being a teenager comes with a lot of stress. It's just a reminder that [...] just don't give up, cause there's always a rainbow, and just make sure that you always soak up the good moments," the singer said, before going on stage as part of the Blind Auditions.

Let's take a look at the biggest challenges Gracee encountered on The Voice so far.

As part of the first round of battles, Gracee had to confront a fellow country singer, the 20-year-old, Dacusville-based Brennan Lassiter.

While Brennan's take on "Blue Ain't Your Colour" – Keith Urban's catchy pop-rock song – garnered some applause, it was Gracee the judges decided to save.

The November 5 episode of The Voice has new challenges in store for Gracee: to secure her future in the competition, she will be battling against Damali.

As to her song of choice? It's "Leave the Pieces" by The Wreckers, an emotionally-charged country-pop song featuring a healthy dose of Autotune, some sassy violin percussions, and a harmonica solo. Her opponent, Damali will opt for safer waters – performing "Sober" by Demi Lovato.

Gracee cemented herself on The Voice as one of the strongest contestants to be reckoned with — and this applies to her sartorial prowess as much as it does to her singing chops.

Her go-to, silver turtleneck and leather shorts combo will one day accrue the same status in the history of fashion as Taylor Swift's belle of the ball dresses, or Dolly Parton's oversized shoulder pads, cinched waist suits, and gemstone-covered, fringed cowboy jackets. Mark my words.

The Voice 2019 kicked off with the first round of Blind Auditions on September 23, and the finale is scheduled for November 16.

How long will Gracee stay in the competition? Based on our – somewhat biased – judgement, there'll be plenty of more opportunities to catch sight of the supremely talented singer in action.

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
