In what might actually be the most dramatic season yet, it was recently revealed that this season's Bachelorette Clare Crawley will actually be leaving her time on the show early. While it was previously confirmed that Bachelor in Paradise alum Tayshia Adams would replace Clare in the upcoming season, new rumors are swirling that may suggest otherwise.
At the end of Peter Weber's less than dramatic season of The Bachelor, fans were ready for some of the show's finalists to be brought back as the bachelorette.
Now, some are wondering if Pilot Pete's ex-fiancée, Hannah Ann Sluss, will instead be joining the show to replace Clare this season.
Will Hannah Ann be on the new season of 'The Bachelorette'?
According to Us, shortly after the outlet had confirmed that Tayshia would be replacing Clare as the new bachelorette, Hannah Ann was spotted with a large suitcase at the La Quinta Resort and Club, where this upcoming season is being filmed.
This immediately led to rumors that the model would be joining this season as an eligible bachelorette, further confusing fans.
The news of Hannah Ann's arrival came as ABC put out a new promo for the upcoming season. The video starts by showing Clare sitting in a one-shoulder dress in front of a camera, though it quickly transitions to a back-lit, faceless woman, hinting that the lead will switch.
“This season is so off the wall that absolutely anything and everything is on the table,” a source told Us after learning of Hannah Ann's appearance. “Producers continue to reach out to women from the franchise in an attempt to salvage a season that just might be the most dramatic ever."
Former 'Bachelorette' Becca Kufrin is also rumored to be on set.
Fans are even further confused since news that former Bachelorette lead Becca Kufrin was also spotted at the La Quinta resort, suggesting she may also make an appearance this season. Recently, there have been rumors she and her fiancé, Garrett Yrigoyen, split.
This has led to conflicting reports as to who will appear as Clare's replacement in the upcoming season, leading some to believe that the producers would use this opportunity to also shoot Bachelor in Paradise at the same time.
But Bachelor spoiler king Reality Steve put in his two cents on Twitter. "Thinking out loud: We know Becca and Hannah Ann are at filming. Those two have something in common: they were initially chosen, then not. What if their presence is nothing more than them talking to the guys still there about being 'second choice?'"
The blogger shut down the idea that the remaining contestants would join these women in a Bachelor in Paradise-type deal, as there are no other women within the Bachelor franchise currently known to also be traveling to La Quinta.
While it's largely suspected that Tayshia will be joining the show for the remainder of the season, it's currently unclear what will happen next. Regardless, fans will still be able to see what went down with Clare, as her short time on set will lead the new season.
