If you've scrolled through TikTok recently, you've probably encountered millions of videos set to the tune of Sabrina Carpenter's smash-hit "Please Please Please" or the viral sound "Man In Finance" that has spawned thousands of legendary remixes. Now, brace yourself because it's the "Hawk Tuah" girl's turn to shine in the spotlight.
If you're not up to speed, a young woman from Tennessee went viral after her charmingly humorous response to an NSFW question during an interview on Tim and Dee TV.
As expected with viral moments, memes quickly followed, and it was only a matter of time before a TikTok user crafted the first remix of the "Hawk Tuah" sensation.
A "hawk tuah" song remix is making waves on TikTok!
Believe it or not, the "hawk tuah" meme is reaching new heights, thanks to TikTok creator Joey Kalico (@rollingblue). On June 22, the self-proclaimed "prince of parodies" uploaded a video to the social media platform showcasing his latest remix.
In this rendition, the TikToker cleverly merges the "hawk tuah" sound with Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," adding his own lyrics: "There was a phrase that struck a chord and took the internet by storm, a phrase for when she's spitting right onto ya. A dude said this to these two chicks, 'What always brings a man to bliss?,' and she said, "Spit on that thang, Hawk Tuah!"
Joey then melodiously chants "Hawk Tuah" to the tune of "Hallelujah" before wrapping up the video. Yeah, we're totally not sitting at our desks with tears in our eyes.
Joey's song racked in over 5,000 comments, with many fellow TikTok users agreeing that this is the musical masterpiece we didn't know we desperately needed until now.
"You, my friend, win this meme war," one TikTok user wrote in the comment section.
A second person said, "This is the new theme song praise hawk tuah."
"I want this played at my funeral," joked a third TikToker.
Another user added, "This is hands down the single best meme to come out of this. You sir are a genius."
"This needs to go viral like millions upon millions viral," someone else declared. "This is straight perfection."
