Now for the biggest question of all: Did Abby attend the Dance Moms reunion?
Who participated in the 'Dance Moms' reunion?
Much to fans' disappointment, Abby isn't part of the Dance Moms reunion. Despite being bummed we won't see Abby on the show, her lack of participation isn't super surprising given the many scandals she has endured since the show aired.
Abby notably went to jail after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud. And of course, her instruction methods were considered harsh at best and may have scarred many of her former students.
It's worth mentioning that Abby is also reportedly paralyzed and wheelchair-bound, which may have made it difficult for her to attend the reunion.
Speaking of her former students, here's who will appear in the special: Kendall Vertes, JoJo, Kalani Hilliker, Chloe Lukasiak, Paige Hyland, and Brooke Hyland.
While JoJo called her time on the show "legendary" in an ABC News interview, Paige referred to Abby's treatment of the girls as "mean."
Paige said about her mom, whose jaw-dropping behavior on the show often made viewers cringe, "every fight was her sticking up for us."
Paige said that Abby "definitely taught me so many life lessons."
For her part, JoJo shared, "She didn't get easier as the show went on. She got harder. I feel like anyone that has been in and out of Abby's life knows that your relationship with her, no matter what it may be, each of us has a very different relationship with her but it is all a very unique relationship that only you and Abby have."
