Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules had a polarizing effect on its longtime viewers. The previous season focused on Scandoval, as it began filming right after the news of the affair broke. Season 11 continued focusing on the aftermath, but unlike the prior season, a new narrative came forward: a Tom Sandoval redemption arc. Or rather, an attempt at a redemption arc that failed miserably, as none of the fans fell for it.

Unlike Katie Maloney (who stayed true to her support of her friend Ariana Madix), both Scheana Shay and Lala Kent decided to hop on Tom's redemption arc train, which led to a major rift in the sisterhood. Lala went from protecting her friend to villainizing her because of the boundaries she set with Tom, who deeply hurt her. Viewers were quickly frustrated by the new dynamic, especially with Lala. Now that the season is over, many think Lala is considering making a change. So, is Lala leaving VPR?

Is Lala Kent leaving 'Vanderpump Rules'?

Rumors of Lala leaving VPR have circled for the past few years, but this time the possibility is more realistic than in prior seasons. The friendship between her and Ariana is now shattered, so it would make sense to jump ship. It also helps that the show is skipping filming this summer, meaning that Lala has more time than usual to make a decision about returning.

Lala even said on a June 2024 episode of the Two Ts in a Pod podcast, “I feel like I’m in such a strange space. I don’t feel like I fit into Vanderpump Rules. I don’t feel like I fit into [VPR spinoff] The Valley. But then I also don’t feel like I fit into Real Housewives. I’m kind of in this weird zone.”

However, she did say she would go on Housewives if she had the chance.

While VPR is giving its cast a break, The Valley will proceed with filming this summer — and here's why maybe Lala should consider it...

Will Lala Kent join the Season 2 cast of 'The Valley'?

Lala is currently in the midst of her second pregnancy. She recently bought a house in the Valley worth $3.1 million because of her growing family. With Lala pursuing a life more focused on her daughter and pregnancy, it'd make sense for her to join the cast of The Valley. The series stars former VPR cast members Kristen Doute, Brittany Cartwright, and Jax Taylor, so she'd certainly fit in well, as the idea behind the show is that they're focused on being true adults with families and responsibilities.

At this point, we'll just have to wait and see.

What about those rumors that Season 11 of 'Vanderpump Rules' is the final season?

There are rumors that Season 11 of VPR is the series' last one. Bravo has denied this rumor, of course, but it certainly has many wondering. The whispers began after the network announced that there'd be a filming hiatus. The reason behind the hiatus is a plausible one. The cast has not had a break from the show since Season 9, and that amount of non-stop filming has caused a lot of fatigue within the cast. Despite the logic behind it, many still think it's over due to a variety of reasons.
