With official news that Bravo's new hit series The Valley will begin production in July, fans are excited to see what will happen after such an explosive series debut. The Valley is a spinoff of the RHOBH spinoff, Vanderpump Rules. It follows alums Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, and Brittany Cartwright alongside a group of their friends as they navigate the next aspect of adult life: family life. The debut season even had a quick follow-up in the finale episode, showing the end of two marriages.
Everyone was aware that Michelle Lally and Jesse Lally were getting divorced when the season began, so there wasn't much mystery there. What people were anxious to see was how things were going with Jax and Brittany. There had been whispers that Jax was unfaithful and that their marriage was over, but Jax denied it. In the finale, Brittany confronts him about him lying about her moving out. With the rumors that he's dating Paige Woolen, now is the perfect time to reflect on Jax's dating history.
Jax Taylor's relationship history, explained.
There is one commonality with all of Jax's known previous relationships: he has never been faithful to anyone he's been with since being in the public eye. He has either been in a committed relationship and cheated or, when he wasn't in a committed relationship, he managed to find himself dating two women at the same time. All this to say, Jax clearly struggles with being a one-woman man. While he seemed to be doing better after walking down the aisle, plenty of issues led to this point.
Jax dated Stassi Schroeder for several years and cheated on her a few times.
When Vanderpump Rules premiered, Jax was in a committed relationship with Stassi Schroeder. In total, Jax and Stassi were together from 2010 to 2013. In 2012, he briefly dated Laura-Leigh Rose while in the midst of a disagreement with Stassi. That quickly came to an end in a dramatic fashion; enough for people to continue asking "where Laura-Leigh is" to this day. Things eventually came to an end with Stassi in 2013 after learning that he and her then-best friend, Kristen Doute, slept together.
In 2014 Jax dated two women at the same time and struggled deciding who he liked more.
Following the breakup with Stassi, Jax began seeing Tiffany Matthews, who lived in Vegas and worked at the Bellagio hotel at the time. Shortly after he began seeing Tiffany, he met Carmen Dickman, who he met while working at SUR. He even went so far as to tattoo Carmen's name on his arm, yet he still opted to end things after two months of dating, leaving Carmen naturally confused. She did give good television, as she put him right in his place when he went about ending their relationship.
Brittany Cartwright was supposed to be his forever, but other major issues have put an end to that.
When Jax met Brittany, he decided that she was the one for him. Being who he is, however, he still managed to be unfaithful to her during their engagement. He slept with Faith Stowers, who, ironically, also wound up being the reason Jax was fired from Vanderpump Rules. Brittany took him back after the indiscretion, but now their marriage is all but finished. Viewers got to see the horrible way he spoke to Brittany on The Valley, and fans have applauded her for taking a stand and leaving Jax.
