Who Is 'Southern Charm' Star John Pringle's Ex-Wife?

Though Season 7 of Southern Charm is missing fan-favorites Cameran Eubanks Wimberley, Chelsea Meissner, and Naomie Olindo, the new cast members are already making a splash on our screens.

In addition to Madison LeCroy's promotion to the full-time cast (viewers first met her in Season 6 as Austen Kroll's on-and-off girlfriend), Leva Bonaparte and John Pringle have officially joined the Charleston socialites — and it looks like they've already made Patricia Altschul's exclusive party guest list.

While Leva made a strong impression in the premiere when she vehemently defended Cameran's husband against the affair rumors, John only made his first appearance on the show toward the end of the episode. 

At Shep Rose's Dumb and Dumber party, John was briefly introduced as one of the eternal bachelor's old college pals from the University of Georgia. 

John revealed that he was newly back in Charleston, and that he was parenting two kids after his divorce. Patricia pointed out that John and Madison had a lot in common as single parents, and it looks like John might further complicate her already-tenuous relationship with Austen.

The musician's family has been in Charleston for generations, but he spent several years living on the West coast. John was previously married to Heidi Pringle, who is a makeup artist based in San Diego. 

During their short marriage, John and Heidi welcomed a son named Quinn. Sixteen months after their eldest son was born, the two became parents once again to another boy, whom they named Asher. 

It's unclear when exactly Heidi and John parted ways, but John's Bravo bio notes that the two have remained friends. They've become good co-parents, which is quite a feat considering the fact that they are on opposite coasts.

While John's relationship status is unclear, since he'll attempt to woo Madison LeCroy on Southern Charm, Heidi appears to now dating a man named William Strocco Jr.

Heidi often showcases her two sons, her makeup work, and her life in San Diego on her Instagram page. 

John is now getting paid to create some drama between Madison and Austen on Southern Charm, but he was previously a commodities broker. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998. 

Following his time at the university, John moved to New York City to learn the commodity business, which his family has also been involved with. He ultimately worked alongside his father, and according to his LinkedIn page, John began working as a Head Trader in Energy Derivatives for GSC Energy in 2002. 

Prior to that role, John was a Natural Gas trader at the same company. 

During his time living in the city that never sleeps after college, he was inspired to create music.   

He has released a few EPs, and he has gone on tour. In addition to singing, John plays the guitar, and he's interested in learning to play the piano. 

As longtime fans of the show will remember, John's co-star Whitney Sudler-Smith is also a music aficionado — and a collaboration between the two would definitely be must-see TV.
