Filming for Pilot Pete Weber's season of The Bachelor is coming to a close relatively soon, before it premieres in January 2020. And while I'm all about finding things out as the episodes air, I'm a total sucker for scouting out spoilers.

One contestant that caught my eye on this season of The Bachelor is Kelsey Weier, a beauty queen from Iowa. Nothing is confirmed on her relationship with Pete yet, but spoilers indicate she has a relatively solid chance of winning this season.

So, who is Kelsey Weier from The Bachelor?

Kelsey is a 28-year-old twin who hails from Des Moines, according to Des Moines Register. She began attending cosmetology school in 2013, before becoming a professional colorist and hair extensions specialist.

And it sounds like her beauty studies definitely paid off — in 2017, she was crowned Miss Iowa. So it looks like she and Pete's ex, Hannah Brown, seem to have that in common... despite the fact they don't like each other, per Reality Steve's Twitter.

Now, according to Kelsey's official Facebook page, it appears she is working at Tom James Company, a store that sells fitted clothes and accessories for men and women.

The midwestern pageant pro is also quite good with kids — she worked as a nanny for two years prior to attending cosmetology school, according to Des Moines Register, and said the experience changed her life.

"In the two years that I nannied for [the client], she taught me so much about life, family and myself," Kelsey was quoted saying on the Miss Universe website

So overall, Kelsey seems to be a really great gal.

How do we think Kelsey is going to do this season?

Well, according to Reality Steve, it seems like she's doing quite well.

The third rose ceremony reportedly just happened on Sunday, Sept. 29 in Los Angeles, Calif., and that only leaves 15 girls in the running. Kelsey is one of the 15 contestants left, and she is set to go on the next couple of dates happening in Ohio. And seeing as she hails from the midwest, there's no doubt in my mind she'll be perfectly comfortable.

Reality Steve initially believed that either Sarah Coffin would be first in line for the rose. However, it seems like the tables have turned — the 24-year-old blonde was unfortunately eliminated during the third Rose Ceremony on Sunday.

While anyone could really end up winning at this point, my money is on Kelsey — she's a pageant queen (yes, like Hannah B!), she loves kids, and — well — she's flat-out gorgeous.

But, Sarah was initially the front-runner, and she unexpectedly got eliminated... so really, anything can happen.

Watch Kelsey attempt to win the heart of Pilot Pete on The Bachelor, which returns in 2020.
