Mary and Moe Were a Solid Team on 'Storage Wars: Texas'

Remember when storage auction TV shows were everything and we all flocked to our TVs in the hopes of seeing people discover antique treasures on the side of the road? It seems like forever ago, and a simpler time, but it was the era of shows like Storage Wars: Texas, which also gave us Mary Padian and Morris "Moe" Prigoff’s adorable friendship.

For fans who saw their friendship as more of a flirty dynamic, though, they might still be wondering just what the nature of their relationship was. Storage Wars: Texas never delved much into the personal lives of its cast members and when it came to Mary and Moe, it was no different. They certainly had a special kind of chemistry and friendship, though.

What exactly was Mary and Moe's relationship on 'Storage Wars: Texas'?

Even if some viewers might have shipped Mary and Moe at one point, they had a mostly father-daughter type of relationship on the show. They were close, sure, but there was never anything romantic between them. At least, publicly anyway. In fact, Mary has never been super forthright about her romantic life outside of the show.

And, presumably, that’s how she intends to keep it, even now after having been off the show for years. On Storage Wars: Texas, Moe and Mary bonded often over finding hidden treasures in storage lockers and making deals either as a team or as competitors. They were adorable as a pair, but not romantically.

Mary Padian still has a sizable net worth in 2020.

Part of Mary’s shtick on Storage Wars: Texas was to find special items which would then be referred to as "Mary's finds." This became such a *thing* that she eventually opened a store in Dallas under the same name. It's not clear if it's still a brick and mortar store, but at the very least, Mary’s Finds is still an online store you can visit.

Because of this, her experience with two different Storage Wars shows, and an Instagram sponsorship or two, Mary’s estimated net worth is $600,000 in 2020. That’s not too shabby for someone who rode high on the Storage Wars train until it returned to the station and didn't quite gain as much reaction again as it once had.

What happened to Moe Prigoff from 'Storage Wars: Texas'?

Although Moe was once a fixture on Storage Wars: Texas, he is no longer a part of reality TV. Before he became the lovable face of the show, he was a podiatrist. And, it would appear that he might still have an office in Dallas. But at 78 years old, it also wouldn't be a huge surprise if he has retired and is enjoying life away from cameras and out of the spotlight.

Moe does often share photos on Facebook from his time on Storage Wars: Texas with Mary. The show was never officially canceled, but there haven’t been new episodes in years and fans sporadically comment on Moe’s posts asking about new seasons. For now, it seems like that’s in his past, but there are always reruns to get you by.
