If you have siblings, you know that even if you were raised by the same parents, you are your own person. Your own person with your own style, likes, dislikes, values, and priorities. Even if you get along great with your siblings, you're probably not exactly the same as them. In fact, if you were, that would be kind of creepy.

Sometimes, though, the differences between siblings is so visually stark it's actually super adorable and funny. And that's exactly the case for Alexandria Bishop and her sister. Alexandria recently posted to Twitter explaining just how different her style is from her sister's, and let me tell you, the internet fell head over heels for these two opposite gals.

She came right out and said that she and her sister are polar opposites before posting a truly wonderful selfie as well as pictures from each of their homes. It might take you, oh I don't know, a millionth of one second to discern how these two lovely ladies are "polar opposites." We'll just let the photo speak for itself.

Yes, these two are sisters, but one loves rainbows and color, and the other (Alexandria, who posted the tweet) wears only black. The difference between them is clear, and yet it's also obvious that they love each other and get along, which is the most important thing.

But we're not done yet! Alexandria also posted pictures from her and her sister's homes, and if it's possible, the difference between the two sisters gets even more obvious with these photos. The first picture is the home of the Rainbow Sister (obviously).

I love it so much! That rainbow fence probably took days to paint. Seriously, what commitment. And I love that she's got a full-on rainbow unicorn float in an inflatable kiddie pool. She's clearly super fun-loving, bubbly, and colorful, and I'd love to hang out with her.

Now, for the photo from Alexandria's home.

Not gonna lie, I also love this! The "go away" mat is something I definitely would buy, and that little coffin bird house is just the right amount of spooky. I would say my personal aesthetic lies somewhere in the middle of these two ladies', but I also very much appreciate their commitment to their own personal brands.

Of course, this tweet went super viral and the internet fell in love with these two totally opposite sisters. It's not everyday you see a rainbow warrior and a goth in the same family, after all. It's truly hilarious and also truly special. As Alexandria's tweet started gaining traction, the replies poured in.

Remember this picture that floated around the internet a few years ago? These houses really are exactly like Alexandria and her sister. In fact, Alexandria responded to this with "We need to get houses next to each other asap." And I agree! Not going to lie, this would be extremely perfect.

Alexandria and her sister truly seem like characters out of a Disney Channel show who initially clash but then realize that looks can be deceiving and they actually have more in common than they first thought. And in that show, they definitely live next door to each other in those houses. I would watch that show, and it turns out, I'm not the only one who had that thought.

It's not every day you see two people who are related with such completely contrasting styles. They deserve their own TV show! Maybe it's a reality show where they go into people's houses and work together to help them style their lives. Some people may end up more with a more colorful home, and others may lean toward Alexandria's monochrome style. But they'll all find themselves in the end.

One thing is certain; these two sisters captured the hearts of all of Twitter. They demonstrate that even seemingly opposite people with opposite interests and opposite lives can get along swimmingly. And if that's not a life lesson for 2019, I don't know what is.
