The year was 1998 and a little fim named Practical Magic had just come out, starring, well, basically everyone.
Fresh off her star turn in Speed, Sandra Bullock played Sally Owens, one half of a witch sister duo with Nicole Kidman, who of course starred as Gillian.
Nicole had already been a household name since her 1990 film Days of Thunder. But she was far from the only huge star in the movie. From Stockard Channing to Aidan Quinn, and from Dianne Wiest to Camilla Belle, let's catch up with what the stars of Practical Magic are up to today.
Sandra Bullock
Sandra's career was just taking off when she starred in Practical Magic.
We've obviously seen her movie roles blossom over the subsequent years, with the actor most notably winning an Oscar for her leading role in The Blind Side.
Nicole Kidman
Like Sandra, Nicole's career has been on an upward trajectory since 1998.
She won her first Oscar for The Hours in 2003, but has been nominated four times.
Fans have also enjoyed seeing Nicole on TV, with notable performances in Big Little Lies and The Undoing.
Stockard Channing
Stockard, better known as Rizzo from Grease, has also maintained working steadily since Practical Magic.
Fans will recall seeing her on The West Wing and The Good Wife. Most recently the actor starred in Knuckles.
Dianne Wiest
Dianne, who played Aunt Jet in Practical Magic, is now 76 and still going strong.
Fans have most recently had the pleasure of seeing Dianne in Mayor of Kingstown. She previously appeared in recurring roles on Law & Order and Life in Pieces.
Goran Visnjic
Goran would be best known of course for his role at Dr. Luca Kovac on ER following Practical Magic.
He also starred in the 2011 film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Goran is still a working actor in Hollywood, most recently appearing in the movie Hellraiser.
Aidan Quinn
Perhaps Practical Magic was a boon for all of its stars, because Aidan is another star who has enjoyed continued success in TV and film since 1998.
He most notably appeared in Elementary for seven years, and has several upcoming projects in the works.
Evan Rachel Wood
We've most certainly heard the name Evan Rachel Wood since she played Kylie in Practical Magic at just 11 years old.
You'll likely recall her recurring role in Once and Again. And who could forget Evan's movie Thirteen? She also notably voiced the mom in Frozen 2 and appeared on Westworld.
Mark Feuerstein
Like his Practical Magic co-stars, Marc has enjoyed much success in Hollywood since 1998.
He starred in Royal Pains for seven years, and many other TV shows and movies, including In Her Shoes.
Camilla Belle
Playing young Sally, Camilla Belle is another star who went on to work continuously following her 1998 stint in Practical Magic.
We loved her in Dirty Dancing: Capoeira Nights and look forward to seeing her in upcoming projects.
