Fans fell in love with Richard Gere when he starred opposite Julia Roberts in the 1990 film Pretty Woman.
He wouldn't become a dad until a decade later, at the age of 50.
But Richard is also a new dad all over again, and has two young kids at home at the age of 74.

Homer James Jigme Gere
Richard of course famously was married to model Cindy Crawford in the early 1990s.
But the couple did not have children together, and ultimately divorced.
The Indecent Proposal star then married Carey Lowell in 2002, after welcoming a son together in 2000.
Homer has kept a fairly low profile over the years, but did step out with his famous father in May 2024 in Cannes, France, where fans got to see how much taller the 24-year-old is than Richard.
About his firstborn, Richard told The Times, “He’s smarter than me, stronger than me, faster than me, taller than me, better than me. He’s great. I love him.”
Alexander Gere
After divorcing Carey, Richard would go on to marry his third wife, Alejandra Silva, in 2018.
The couple then welcomed a son, Alexander, in 2019.
Richard and Alejandra go to great lengths to keep their young kids' identities private, blurring out their faces in social media shares.
When asked how he feels about being an older dad — Alexander was born when the star was 69 — Richard said he has no concerns about it.
In fact, he and his wife welcomed another son in 2020.
James Gere
All we know about the Geres' second son together is that he is 3 years old at that his name is James.
Like his big brother, we also have not seen the child's face, although he appears in obscured photos with his family online.
Alejandra also has an 11-year-old son from another relationship named Albert.
“We have three small children. An 11-year-old, a five-year-old and a four-year-old. So around nine thirty at night we are all asleep. If we watch something, it will be on the big television we have at home," Richard told Vanity Fair Spain previously about family life at this stage.
As for future family plans, we don't know if Richard is done expanding his brood, but it's clear he is a very committed father, whose wife and kids appreciate him greatly!
"Happy Father’s Day, to the most wonderful dad four boys could ever wish for," Alejandra wrote on Instagram in June 2024.
"Your endless patience, love, and dedication are truly remarkable," she continued. "Happy Father’s Day to the man who is always there for us, making every moment special. Love, Mom, James, Alexander, Albert, [and] Homer."
The family reportedly lives full time in Madrid, Spain, with Richard explaining about the big move from New York, "For me, going to Madrid is going to be a great adventure because I have never lived full-time outside of the United States."
He explained about his wife, “She was very generous in giving me six years living in my world, so I think it is fair that I give her at least another six living in hers."
