In Addition to Her Gorgeous Kitchen, Selena Gomez's New House Is Seriously Stunning

If you've been up-to-date on Selena Gomez's latest endeavors, you're probably aware the Disney alum has traded in the microphone for an apron and a set of chef-grade knives. The "Lose You To Love Me" singer has been filming a cooking show for the extent of quarantine, providing viewers with a glimpse into her daily life, her love for cooking, and most importantly, her brand new abode, which she bought earlier this year for $4.99 million.
If you're anything like us, you love seeing where celebrities live, and Selena Gomez's new house is absolutely breathtaking. It once belonged to late rockstar Tom Petty, so it goes without saying we're sending in an application to be Selena's new roommates, as we speak.
Where does Selena Gomez live? She moved to Encino, Calif. earlier this year.
Selena's new abode is every minimalist's wildest dream. In a house tour video posted by WB1SoulSurfer1ASR, viewers see high vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and wooden floors, as well as cream-colored walls. In the living room, which is overlooked by a balcony from upstairs, there are tufted white couches with throw pillows galore, a piano, an impressive collection of velvety armchairs, and vases filled with flowers. There's also a massive fireplace, for the rare chilly California evening.
The kitchen is fit for any culinary enthusiast with pots and pans hanging from the ceiling, white-tiled walls, and an island that makes cooking for a large crowd (or simply a feast for one!) incredibly conducive. Cabinets line the entire kitchen, making for ample storage space, and the oven is large enough for any Thanksgiving turkey. There are also doors that lead outside from the kitchen, so the natural light for food snaps is #OnFleek.
The kitchen leads into the dining area, which features a medium-sized round granite table, six chairs, and a spiral staircase. It's a truly luxurious spot for any holiday gathering.
Selena's house has six bedrooms, so definitely snag an invite for a sleepover.
While we might not be house guests of Selena, we could totally see her having a party with T. Swift and a few other gal pals. Selena's 11,000 square-foot house has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms (the dream), and although we haven't gotten to see all of the bedrooms, the master (which is presumably hers) takes on a minimalist grey and white coloring like the rest of the house, somewhat emulating the vibe of an upscale hotel room.
One of the bathrooms has a clawfoot tub and white marble sinks. It also features a glass door; a massive, grey wood vanity; and huge windows.
The house also has a recording studio, a pool, a gym, and — of course — a wine cellar. It wouldn't be a chef's home without some proper storage space for wine.
Selena's new place is seriously sweet, and we hope to see more of it in Selena + Chef. Until then, we'll be banking on snagging a dinner party invite.
