One noticeably absent cast member from the RHOA trailer was last season’s newbie Shamari DeVoe. Unfortunately, the Bravo star was reportedly demoted for Season 12. A source told Radar Online, “She was offered a daily rate to make appearances as a friend.” Adding, “The producers told Shamari that she’s not getting a peach.”

Though she is no longer a series regular alongside Cynthia Bailey, Eva Marcille, Kandi Burruss, Nene Leakes, Porsha Williams, and Kenya, we are hoping the mother of two makes a few appearances on the hit Bravo show. So, what has Shamari been up to since Season 11 of RHOA

You may recognize Shamari from the hit film Bring It On.

Already known as a member of the popular R&B trio Blaque, in the late 90s, Shamari got her first acting gig with a little movie called Bring It On. The cheerleading classic, starring Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union, and Eliza Dushku became an iconic teen flick.

Earlier this year, Shamari spoke with Bravo about her time on the set of Bring It On. The singer revealed that Blaque did not have to audition for the film. “We went away to cheerleading camp for two weeks,” she said, explaining how she learned the East Compton Clovers’ routines and stunts.

The performer also revealed that she and co-star Gabrielle got along “really, really well.” Adding, “I was like her little sister.”
