Where is Tameka?

That's the only question a lot of TikTokers have after hearing this inspirational message the woman, who worked at an GRE testing facility, left this woman's sister the evening before she was set to take her exam.

Helena (@helenebobene) wrote that she is currently studying for her own GRE exam, and that she listens to a voicemail her older sister saved from Tameka for motivation.

At first, the voicemail begins professionally enough — Tameka gives the woman instructions on how to ensure that she's adequately prepared for the test. She even mentions that she should bring a sweater or a fleece to wear just in case the room gets chilly.

However, her voicemail then transitions into an inspirational message about girl power. She says that the young woman shouldn't come into the test nervous and that she should just think about it the same way as if she's going to work at her job — when she's at work she has to just figure out how to handle whatever problem comes at her.

"My sister took an exam four years ago and she still has this voicemail saved from the testing center when they called the day before. Please wait for the best part..." a text overlay in the video reads.

Helena added, "I'm taking an exam this week and literally listen to this every night as my motivation before I go to sleep."

Helena records herself leaning into the camera with her hands resting on her fingers as the voicemail in question plays in the clip. The person speaking, who appears to be a rep at the GRE testing facility her sister had her examination in speaks into the phone, stating: "Giving you a courtesy call for your GRE that's tomorrow at 12."

The woman continues, "Know that you can arrive 45 minutes early — if you come early, we start you early. Make sure you have a valid driver's license, ID, or passport. Make sure that you come with a sweater or a fleece just in case the testing center is chilly and just come confident and well-prepared."

And it's here where the motivational speech comes into play.

The employee goes on: "Miss Amelia, this is what you studied for, this is what you worked hard for. Bring your best girl confidence, bring your best girl magic. It's called girl power, girl power is the best power. Ain't nothing better than that."

Helena added in a caption how the woman's words positively affected her: "I'm not a crier but I swear I cry every time I listen to this"

The testing rep added: "So put in your head that this is what you want, don't come nervous, because when you have to do something for work, you're not nervous"

The GRE testing employee went on: "But when you study for something I just feel like people are more nervous when they study, to get prepared then you walk into work and work is unpredictable and y'all are ready for work you know what I'm saying?"

The woman continued with her pep talk work analogy: "Just come the same way as if you was coming for work. Just come confident, come prepared and just tell yourself, 'I worked hard for this.'"

Helena put in another overlay that she ultimately wanted help in locating the woman who imparted such kind words to her sister prior to her exam: "Please help me find this woman!!! She would have lived in Boston in 2019/2020 and worked at a standardized testing center"

Several folks who responded to the video were putting out the APB for Tameka in the hopes of locating her so Helena could reconnect, and as it turns out, they did. She even posted a snippet of her phone call with the testing center employee in a follow-up TikTok video.
