A Nashville Nurse on TikTok Bears a Shocking Similarity to Taylor Swift

Celebrity lookalikes are fairly common but every once in a while you see one that's truly special. In a recent TikTok, a Nashville nurse named Ashley posted about the unique struggles she faces as a Nashville resident who bears a strong resemblance to Taylor Swift. In the video, she explains that it's impossible for her to go anywhere looking nice without getting confused for the singer. 

Ashley and Taylor have the same bob with bangs, and they also have very similar builds. Based on Ashley's wardrobe in the video, the two also appear to share a sense of style and a love for oversized sunglasses. As a result, it's easy to see how people might believe she's Taylor Swift, especially if she's mostly hanging out in and around Nashville, where Taylor also lives. 

In the video, she explains that whether she's going out for date night or on a run to Target, she's constantly being asked for photos or autographs. 

“I wear scrubs all day and just want to look nice for a change,” she explains. By the end of the video, though, she's realized that she has to wear the drabbest clothes possible in order to avoid being confused for the singer. 

“You look more like Taylor than Taylor looks like Taylor,” one person wrote in the comments. While Taylor has not yet made any public comment on the video, it's very possible that she will see it at some point. The singer is known for poking around in fan posts about her, and this is definitely worth her attention. 

While Taylor's doppelgänger is a nurse in Nashville, there are plenty of famous people who also happen to look like other famous people. Some of the most commonly confused include Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain, Isla Fisher and Amy Adams, and Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes. Of course, these celebrity pairings aren't quite the perfect match that Ashley is with Taylor. 

It's not clear if Ashley is a Taylor Swift fan or if she just looks like her, but Taylor has fostered a reputation over the course of her career for being kind to fans. Just recently, the singer began sending stimulus checks to fans who were out of work as a result of the pandemic. One of her fans posted a DM that Taylor sent. 

"Samantha, I saw your tweet about being stressed about bills piling up and I want to help," she wrote before asking what the best way to get her $3000 would be. 

Other similar messages began to crop up on Twitter, suggesting that Taylor had done this with at least 10 separate fans who found themselves out of a job because of the pandemic. Based on the posts, it seems that the money Taylor sent did these people a lot of good, and helped them escape financial ruin, at least for the time being.
