- Tekashi's mansion and car may be sold to pay off a legal settlement he still owes.
Infamous rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has found himself in hot water multiple times throughout the course of his career. Though he initially skyrocketed to fame following his feature on Trippie Redd's "Poles 1469" and his debut single, he's since faced a litany of legal battles that have hurt his bottom line.
Between charges for racketeering, child pornography, and conspiracy to commit murder and armed robbery, Tekashi has spent a lot of time battling in court. This, of course, has affected his overall net worth — and it seems he may have to pay up soon.
What is Tekashi 6ix9ine's net worth?
Unfortunately, we don't have any way to verify Tekashi's net worth, as it seems that his income has fluctuated greatly throughout his career. Just two years ago he was sporting a new chain that he claimed was worth over $1 million, while in 2022 he claimed he was "struggling to make ends meet," per Celebrity Net Worth.
Over the years, his estimated net worth has teetered as high as $2 million to as low as $500,000. Currently, it seems his net worth is somewhere around $500,000, as he's faced massive financial hits following his various lawsuits and convictions.
That said, one look at his Instagram would make one think otherwise. Many of his social media posts depict him holding thousands of dollars in cash, suggesting that maybe he's not doing as badly as he sometimes claims to be.
Tekashi's mansion and cars may be auctioned to pay his $10 million lawsuit.
When Tekashi was found guilty of assaulting a dancer at a nightclub in Miami, she was awarded an almost $10 million settlement — but according to TMZ, the rapper has yet to pay up. Reportedly, as a result of the settlement, Tekashi's mansion, Rolls Royce, and other assets may be auctioned off to pay the settlement.
According to the outlet, Tekashi was found guilty in July of this year following the lawsuit filed in 2021. The rapper allegedly hit the dancer, Alexis Salaberrios, over the head with a champagne bottle, resulting in a head wound that required staples to seal.
Lance Lazzaro, Tekashi's attorney, told TMZ "It’s an attempt to shake him down," dismissing the court documents filed to seize his assets.
It's currently unclear if this means that the rapper's net worth will drop even further as his assets are liquidated, or if he will find the money to pay the settlement without losing his mansion and car. Regardless, it seems like a lot of his legal issues will further drain his financial resources, so expect his net worth to fluctuate in the coming years.
