Trevor is from Cartersville, Ga. and his parents are Jeremy and Amanda Lawrence. By all accounts, the couple is a fairly conventional suburban pair, although some reports have suggested that they are quite religious. Jeremy works as an environmental safety manager at a local manufacturing plant. He met Amanda when they were both attending East Tennessee State University.

Jeremy said that Trevor liked to play all sports growing up, but that he had a particular fondness for basketball. Jeremy also said that Trevor first started to display his unique athletic abilities in middle school, which was also when his dad decided to hire a trainer to foster those abilities further.

Amanda, meanwhile, works as a nurse practitioner, and is a native of Tennessee. In addition to Trevor, she also raised two other children.

Trevor is the middle of three children. His brother, Chase, is four years older than him, and his sister Olivia is 11 years younger. While Olivia is still a child, Chase is an artist who runs an art studio with his wife Brooke. The two bonded in part over their shared love of the medium, and have been working together since at least 2020.

Although he has yet to win a Super Bowl, Trevor has already played in some big games during his career. He went to college at Clemson and was the quarterback when they won the National Collegiate Championship in 2019. At the time, he was just a freshman. He went on to have three successful seasons with Clemson before he entered the draft in 2021.

When he entered the league, Trevor was joining a fairly destitute Jaguars squad that only won three games during his first year. In his second season, though, he managed to rally the team from a bad start and ultimately led them to a 9-8 record and a playoff berth.
