Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules is hurtling toward its finale, and with that in mind, fans are dying to know if their favorite Bravolebrities will return for another season.
While the fate of a 12th season remains a total mystery, there is still hope that the cast will grace our TV screens once again!
However, a recent update on the status of Season 12 has left Vanderpump Rules viewers worried it will never see the light of day. Read on for all the known details.
Filming for 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 has been delayed.
On April 30, Deadline reported that production for Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules has been delayed. A source close to the cast disclosed to the outlet that the show will deviate from its usual schedule and refrain from filming during the summer.
TMZ, the first to break the news, revealed that one reason for the hiatus is to give the cast a well-deserved break, particularly in light of the aftermath of #Scandoval.
The outlet learned that, rather than immediately diving into another summer of filming, the producers want to give the cast time to pursue other opportunities. They hope that by the time the cast reunites in front of the camera, significant developments and new drama will have emerged.
Another possible reason for the delay is to accommodate Ariana Madix's absence as she heads to Fiji to host Season 6 of Love Island USA. For those unaware, the TV personality-turned-Broadway star was recently announced as the new host of the dating show, taking over from Modern Family star Sarah Hyland.
Ariana Madix is unsure if she'll return to 'Vanderpump Rules.'
Just a few days before news broke that filming would be delayed, Ariana shared that she is uncertain if she'll return to Vanderpump Rules for Season 12.
While promoting her book, Single AF Cocktails, at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Ariana said "It would have to make sense for me" to consider a return to the Emmy-nominated reality series.
"Our show has always thrived, it's always at its best when it is at its most authentic and its most real, and I have to be able to show up and be real and be authentic in order for it to make sense for me," she explained, per Page Six. "So that's the question I would be asking myself going into it."
Vanderpump Rules is now streaming on Peacock.
