It has been 13 years since High School Musical mania initially began. The Disney Channel TV movie captivated fans with its story and lyrics, which then launched the careers of multiple cast members, such as Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale.
The then-platinum blonde Disney star was initially known for her role on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Fans soon fell in love with her take on mean girl and Queen B, Sharpay Evans. So, after her well-known role on HSM, what happened to Ashley Tisdale?
She is very active on social media.
Boasting more than 11-million followers on Instagram, the actress keeps her fans updated on her daily life. Unfortunately, she most recently made headlines after she shared a new tattoo in honor of her beloved pooch, Maui, who passed away last month.
“I wanted more time with her. I wasn’t ready for this and now I’m broken,” she wrote, sharing the sad news with fans. “I will miss you every single day of my life, Maui. I will never forget how much joy and love you brought to me. I can’t stop crying but hopefully in time that will heal.” We love that Ashley is so open with her fans. Our thoughts go out to her during this difficult time.
Ashley released her third studio album in May.
After nearly a decade since the release of her pop album Guilty Pleasures, the singer-songwriter delivered Symptoms, an emotionally charged, extremely personal set of songs about the star’s own journey to self-discovery. “This record is such a personal record for me — it's a piece of me and I’m excited to share it with the world,” she told Forbes ahead of the release.
She continued, “This experience has been a lot of fun and I've really gotten to know myself as an artist. It was also very healing for me. This album is a piece of me, versus when I was younger, I didn’t know who I was as an artist.”
Before the release of her album, Ashley was gaining popularity in the YouTube world. She would perform live renditions of songs with her husband, Christopher French, and invite friends, such as Vanessa Hudgens, to join in. Her Ex’s and Oh’s video featuring Baby V gave us life!
The High School Musical alum is happily married.
The 33-year-old said “I do” to now-husband Christopher French in 2014. While Hollywood romances are not known to last, Ashley and her beau seem stronger than ever. In a January interview with Us Weekly, the actress revealed that the key to their relationship success is finding balance. Admitting it may be crazy, she told the outlet: "I think that pretty much every night we hang out, and pretty much on the weekends we’re like, ‘Okay, let’s do a specific night where we’ll do a date.’"

She added, “We both know what our priorities are. We both know that we’re always each other’s No. 1. So I think that’s really how you balance your relationship with work.”
Besides her successful marriage and career in the entertainment business, Ashley also created her own makeup line called Illuminate. Basically, is there anything this woman can't do?
